best friend. She enjoys playing with other cats
and has become tolerant of the household dog.
She might need a little time to warm up to a
new environment. However, Joe-Joe is quite
the attention monger and loves laps.
Beauty is a precious girl and a joy to have
around. As long you provide her with some
cuddle time, wet food, cat toys and a comfortable
place to nap, she is a happy girl. She
loves to play, wrestle and nap with her foster
sister, Ebony. Ebony is a sassy, feisty little
girl who loves attention (once you earn her
trust) and purrs loudly in appreciation when
she gets it. She often starts purring when you
talk to her. Ebony will not hesitate to come
looking for you to make sure she gets in cuddle
time every day. She is a confident kitten with
a funny little personality. It is fun to watch
Beauty and Ebony chase one another up and
down the cat tree and across the living room.
In between play sessions, they like to bask in
the sun and watch birds through the window.
Beauty and Ebony are a bonded pair and are
eager to find a forever home that will give
them both lots of love.
These cats and kittens are available for adoption
through Kitten Rescue, one of the largest
cat rescue groups in Southern California. All
our kitties are spayed/neutered, microchipped,
tested for FeLV and FIV, dewormed and current
on their vaccinations. Temporarily, adoption
events are suspended. For additional information
and to see these or our other kittens and cats,
please check our website www.kittenrescue.org
or email us at mail@kittenrescue.org.
With our city and state shut down, we are
faced with the delicate balance to protect our
fellow humans from the spread of COVID-19,
while continuing our mission of saving the
most vulnerable victims of the homeless cat
crisis. We know that these are hard times for
everyone. If you can give a little, it will go a
long way. They are still counting on us during
these difficult times. Your tax-deductible donations
for the rescue and care of our cats and
kittens can be made through our website or by
sending a check payable to Kitten Rescue, 914

Saving one animal won’t change the world, but
the world will surely change for that animal. •
Purrrfect Companions
Every second of every minute of every day,
a helpless animal is put to death just because
no one was there to take them home. Give
them second chance for love when you adopt
one of these precious kitties. You can also

Casey is an amazing little bundle of joy.
He loves to be caressed and kissed. As he
prances around, he looks at you lovingly, seeking
attention and affection. He is looking for
parents who can spoil him beyond his wildest
dreams. Casey wants a home that will also
adopt his sister, Emily, who is very bonded
with her brother.
Emily is a dream who is a sweet, loving little
soul. She’s a wonderful computer assistant and
provides all the support you’ll ever need. Emily
is looking for a home that is as special as
Rose
she is, along with her equally special brother,
Casey. She’s looking forward to springtime
and lots of treats from the Easter bunny. This
adorable charmer will melt your heart. Emily
and her brother Casey are super special kitties
who deserve the best in life.
Rose and Stoyana are flirty, affectionate girls
who are very well mannered. Rose will run
to you when you get home and Stoyana will
do her happy dance which is skipping around
the room exited to see you and hope that you
notice her too. Rose has the funniest little
quirk. When you are preparing her breakfast
or dinner, she stands on her tiptoes and rubs
her back on your legs. It is like she is saying
“I love you. And I love breakfast!” Rose is a
lap cat who can’t get enough cuddles.
Stoyana is her sister’s shadow. When you
get out her favorite wand toys, she jumps into
action is not demure anymore. She is a serious
hunter pushing everyone out of the way
to catch her prize. Like her sister, Stoyana
will want your adoration as well. When you
sit on the couch, or on the floor, she will seek
your affection. They are young kitties and
will thrive with a family who will create a
stimulating environment, with a tall cat tree
and play with them.
Choco-Taco and Joe-Joe are a set of black
and white sweet treats are ready for their forever
homes! They are a bonded pair who once they
warm up to you, they are yours.
Choco Taco is our special treat. She was the
runt of the litter and needed some extra time
to be ready for adoption. She appears to have
some muscular delays, but this does not stop
this special girl. Choco has learned to play
and does well with other cats and her foster
family’s dog. Choco Taco likes to chase her
dry kibble along the floor, watch and talk to
the birdies, and is just discovering the couch
and laps.. Her purr is very loud and her growl
is like a car motor.
Joe-Joe can be a bit shy at first but once you
give her head a good noogie, she is your new

Minerva has been adopted! Minerva came
to us in April of last year. Shortly after she
arrived at the sanctuary, she tested positive for
FeLV (feline leukemia). FeLV is a retrovirus
that is contagious to other cats, so Minerva
lived in the FeLV room at the Kitten Rescue
Sanctuary until she was recently adopted.
Finding homes for FeLV+ cats can be
challenging because it is contagious to other
cats and may lead to a shorter lifespan. But
that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve a loving
home! Minerva’s new human is smitten
with her and Minerva is overjoyed to have
a home of our own.
When you adopt a “pet without a partner”,
you will forever make a difference in their
life and they are sure to make a difference
in yours. •
