Purrrfect Companions
Waffles Sybil
A cat (or two) makes every home more
fun! Come meet our kitties and be prepared
to fall in love!
Waffles is an easygoing cat who easily
acclimated to living at our sanctuary. From
the moment he arrived here, Waffles wanted
to get out of his enclosure and mingle with
the other cats and especially with people.
This boy really loves to get attention and
pets. If you are looking for a cat that will
interact with you (and probably help you
co-host any social gatherings at your place),
Waffles is the one for you!
Pounce, romp, cuddle, play… those are
a few of little Pixie’s favorite things! She
is one of the most affectionate and loving
little girls you’ll ever meet. She loves to be
held and petted, and she purrs to the touch.
Pixie has a lot of energy and loves to wrestle
with her foster mate Pegacorn or toss about a
feather toy. Due to her age and energy level,
Pixie needs another young, playful kitty in
her new home. She would love to be adopted
with her foster brother, Pegacorn.
Pegacorn is an extremely sweet and affectionate
boy. Very outgoing and friendly, he
loves humans of all ages as well as caresses.
Peg loves to be picked up and held and will
seek out human attention. With his very playful
nature, he loves to wrestle with his foster
sister, Pixie. He also gets along with other
cats and kittens and would adapt well to a
cat-friendly dog. Due to his age and energy
level, Peg will need to go to a new home
with another young, playful cat or kitten. Of
course, he would love to join a new family
with his foster sister, Pixie.
Sybil was first discovered living on the
streets. She was brought inside and soon
delivered a litter of seven kittens! She was a
good mother, but as soon as the kittens were
weaned, Sybil made it abundantly clear that
she was done sharing her space with other
felines. Sybil loves people — any size, shape,
gender or party preference. But she does not
like other cats or dogs. If she is the only cat
in residence, Sybil is everything you could
possibly want in a companion. She will greet
you when you come home with meows of
“welcome” and “how was your day?” If you
toss her a toy, she will play. She will even
walk on a leash if you want some fresh air.
Sybil is sweet, funny and a good conversationalist.
What more could you ask? If you
can only have one cat, make it Sybil!
Manchego is a wonderfully sweet, affectionate
little dude with a sparkly tabby coat. As
the big guy in his litter, he’s always leader
of the pack. He meets you front and center
for playtime, hugs or treats. Manchego purrs
to the touch and loves to be with people and
other animals. His main concern is that he’s

not left alone too long when he knows you’re
home. Manchego’s fearless nature would
make him a great candidate for integration
with friendly dogs, though he hasn’t met any
yet. Since he is young and playful, he will
need to be adopted with a buddy. His brother
Ricotta would be a great match
Ricotta is an amazing little bean of a
kitten with a thick, fuzzy coat. He purrs to
the touch and loves rolling on his back so
you can give his belly a rub. Ricotta was
underweight at the time of rescue and is
still on the little side, but he makes up for it
with his big personality. He keeps pace with
everyone in the room and gives everyone a
workout. He’s a wonderful little sweetheart
of a guy. Ricotta is a bit on the vocal side,
making little peeps here and there, mainly
at mealtime while you’re serving food. He
would integrate well with older kittens and
cats, though they’d have to be playful since
he will pester them for interaction. He may
also do well with gentle dogs. Since he is
young and playful, he will need to be adopted
with a buddy or even his brother, Manchego.
Tipsy was turned into the pound with some
lacerations on her head and one of her paws.
When we saw her there, we knew we had to
help her find her forever home! This petite
kitty will roll over for belly rubs and head
pets, but she can get a bit nippy when she is
overstimulated. So a home with small children
will not be a good match for her. Tipsy seems
to adapt well to new environments if given a
little time to acclimate. She has now shown
interest in playing with the other kitties and is
having fun exploring kitty tunnels and other toys.
These kitties are available for adoption
through Kitten Rescue, one of the largest cat
rescue groups in Southern California. All our
kitties are spayed/neutered, microchipped,
tested for FeLV and FIV, dewormed and
