Purrrfect Companions
Adopt a cat ‘cause cats are
cool. A cat (or two) makes
every house more fun! Here
are just a few of our cool cats
(and kittens).
Leonard is a super chill,
friendly, social guy who is
okay with other mellow, beta
cats. He is a precious, gentle,
sweet, loving guy. His last family
abandoned him after declawing
him, which is unconscionable.
Luckily, he was taken in by a
rescue volunteer and has since
been in a safe, loving foster
home. Leonard looks forward
to his human pals coming
home after work, and loves
getting petted and having dinner
before bedtime. Playful and
adventurous, he is an explorer at
heart. Leonard is also expressive
and loves attention. Getting
petted and brushed is his number
one favorite activity. You will
love this cat. He is truly amazing.
Higgins was a kitten just last year and
hasn’t quite accepted the fact that he’s now
a 12-pound adult. He still overflows with
energy and absolutely loves playtime. His
favorite thing is a fishing pole toy that his
person can operate while he chases, leaps and
pounces. Since he is such a little “helper,”
you have to be sure you check before closing
that drawer, or the closet…or the refrigerator.
Higgins is generally a confident guy and
would be a great family cat. He
doesn’t live with children, but has
had no problem letting them pet
him at adoption events. Higgins
is an alpha. He shares his foster
home with several other cats and
gets along fine with most, but will
bully a couple that don’t stand up
to him. Higgins really seems to
prefer his people, so he wouldn’t be
the best choice if you specifically
want a playmate for your resident
cat. He has done well when briefly
introduced to a dog.
Ivy is the adorable runt of her
litter. She has consistently been the
smallest, but that doesn’t stop her
from playing just as tough with her
siblings. This tiny girl is such a sweetheart
and absolutely melts anyone who sees her. Ivy
loves to curl up for naps on the couch with
her humans and knows she has us wrapped
around her little paw. Ivy has typical kitten
energy and needs to be in a home where
she will have another cat for playtime. Ivy
would love to be adopted with one of her
siblings: Selina Kyle, Harley Quinn, or Bruce
Wayne. However, she would be able to adjust
to other cats as well.
Bruce is a very friendly, cheerful little guy
who’s eager to be friends with everyone he
meets. Bruce chirps rather than meows and

he has a very robust purr. He will walk right
up to you to ask for pets by rubbing against
your legs. Bruce has typical kitten energy and
needs to be in a home where he can play
with another cat. One of his sisters, Selina
Kyle, Harley Quinn, or Poison Ivy, would
be a great playmate for
Bruce if you don’t already
have another feline friend
for him.
Lucky has the sweetest
face, with stunning light
green eyes and a black
smudge on his nose.
He has an amazing
personality and loves
to play with tons of
toys--especially wand
and feather toys. A very
curious and adventurous
kitten, Lucky also loves
to sit by a window and
sightsee for a while.
When he’s not exploring
and playing, you may
catch him relaxing with his back legs all
stretched out. He is a purr machine who
loves to snuggle, since he was rescued at
only a couple of days old and was bottle-fed
his entire life. Since Lucky is so young and
playful, he would do best
in a home with another
kitten or young cat.
Sam has the cutest face,
with little tufts of white
in his ears. His favorite
time of day is feeding
time, and boy does he
let his foster mom know
it! He herds her towards
the food in the morning
and again at night. When
the treat bag comes out,
he’s beside himself with
joy. He takes a minute to warm up to you…
but when he does, he wants nothing more
than to play. Feather toys are his favorite,
followed by hugs and grooming from him.
Because he’s young and likes to play, he
would love a friend. Maybe check out one
of his siblings: Arya, Aemon, Theon or Yara.
Yara is a dilute Tortie with the cutest pink
nose, which is why her foster mom also calls
her Pinky. She is Miss Tortietude
upon meeting her. Don’t
let her grumpy face fool you.
Once she warms up to you, Yara
loves to box with her paws,
play with her mouse toy, and
curl up on your lap for pets and
a nap. At her young age, Yara
likes to play. She would love a
friend and any of her siblings,
Arya, Aemon, Theon or Sam,
would make the perfect duo.
As a young kitten, Ellaria was
pulled from the car engine by a
receptionist at a Kitten Rescue
partner veterinarian. This little
gem is very soft and incredibly affectionate
with people. Her coat is unique and gorgeous
and is pale and fluffy with adorable markings.
Ellaria can’t wait to find a loving home
where she can be someone’s spoiled little
princess. She would be fine as a solo cat or
with another kitty who lets her be the boss
and gives her space as desired. Although
Ellaria gets along with the other cats in her
foster home, she prefers to play on her own
time and often independently.
