Purrrfect Companions
Malika
Blessing
Little Big Spot
Every second of every minute of every day,
a helpless animal is put to death just because
no one was there to take them home. Saving
one animal may not change the world, but it
will change the world for that animal
Give one of these kitties a second chance
for a lifetime of love in a new forever home
with you.
Malika was adopted when she was just a
little kitten. Her mom kept her as a young
adult, but just decided to give Malika away.
She said Malika was “too affectionate” and
“bothered her when Malika wanted affection.”
little kitten. How sad! All Malika knows is
that she loves to be petted and loves snuggling
Archie
So she just traded Malika in for a new
and sitting next to you. If you want a
loving, affectionate and rare female orange
tabby who will give you lots of love, licks
and purrs, then Malika is the kitty for you.
Malika doesn’t really like other kitties, so she
would do best in a home as an “only” cat.
Archie was abandoned and rescued off
of the streets. He is a very sweet, sensitive
boy. Archie loves to be held and petted and
adores other cats and kittens. As a bonus,
he is also accustomed to kitty-friendly dogs.
Pinkerton is a good-natured kitty who
found himself on hard times when his humans
became homeless. He lived with them
outside for a while, but was left behind when
his people were forced to move from their
encampment. He is getting used to being
indoors again and he thinks it’s pretty awesome.
Once he settles in, Pinkerton likes ear
scratches, affection, playing and hanging out
with his human. Pinkerton’s ideal home will
be with someone who is patient and has a
quiet home. He is not skittish or super shy,
but he does need some understanding and a
little time to acclimate.
Dallas is an ultra-friendly 2-year-old boy
who bonds instantly with people who are
nice to him. He is a sweetheart. Dallas is
not startled by anything and doesn’t hide.
He just wants love and affection from his
human friends. He gets along fine with (catfriendly)
dogs and we expect him to adapt
well to a young, friendly cat or older, calm
cat. Everyone loves Dallas. Some people
comment that his personality is more like
a dog than a cat, as he follows around his
caretakers to see what is going on.
Blessing is just that – a blessing to have
around. She is sweet, affectionate and absolutely
gorgeous. Just look at that face and
gorgeous green eyes! Blessing loves people
and attention. She likes to follow her human
around the house just to be in the same room
together. If you want a buddy to chill with
while you watch TV or read a book, Blessing
is the perfect kitty for you. She is a gentle
kitty who would be okay in a single-pet
household or with another affectionate cat
who will not bully her. This sweet girl is a
lover, not a fighter.
Little Big Spot found himself at a shelter
after being confiscated from a home with
too many animals. He was scared at the
shelter, so the staff and volunteers reached
out to rescue groups to save him. As soon
as Little Big Spot went into a foster home,
we found that he was a sweet boy who loves
to snuggle with humans and loves to play
with his kitty friends. He even likes dogs!
Little Big Spot loves to give kisses, with
little nibbles in between -- they do not hurt.
He is just trying to tell you to use that hand
to pet him more
