My tail is always wagging because I’m so
happy! I’m Izzy, a beautiful 6 year old pit
bull mix and sweet girl who loves to be pet
and spend time with my human companions.
The staff here say I am very smart. I would
do best in a home without other dogs. https://

Carly has proven to be a fantastic mama.
She is a 4 year old domestic short hair who
came in with her own kitten and a kitten she
“adopted” in the wild (likely separated from
their mom)! Her babies have been adopted
and now it’s Carly’s turn to be pampered
and spoiled. Adopt her today! https://spcala.

Serafina has been with spcaLA South Bay
since June. Although there was plenty of interest
in this pretty cat, her pre-existing medical

Don’t wake them up to play. Instead, plan

evening after they’ve had their proper rest.

Did you know? Hamsters have cheek
pouches that they use for storing food. So
while it may appear that your hamster is
eating a lot, they are likely just storing some
of it in their cheeks to transport around their
habitat and keep in their burrows. Schmidt

spirit, to adopt a pet with pre-existing medical
issues. Her new mom is a cancer survivor
herself, so she brings a unique perspective to
her care and understanding of what Serafina
may experience. Best wishes to Serafina and
Amara for a joyous and cancer-free future!
They are living the good life in Long Beach. •
Congratulationa to Serafina and her new family.
