Come Running to My Defense
I’m not sure if it is pity, sympathy, heart
felt concern, or what, but whenever I share
some negative feedback from my ever-prowling
critics who troll me constantly, it seems like I
receive a lot a love in my defense. Maybe I
should threaten to throw in the towel and just
quit this weekly tantrum of extolling the virtues
of God and beer. Here are a few positives that
keep my fingers nimble and my brain juices
flowing: Mary, Reader #14: “Ignore those idiot
comments, keep on keeping on.” Joe, #9: “Tell
them bums to have a cold one.” Rod, #27: “My
mother-in-law never really warmed up to me neither.”
Sally, #? “I so look forward to my weekly
hiccups and the stupid stuff you write.” I’m
sure glad some of you have it figured out. This
whole thing is a joke. It’s meant to bring you a
laugh. The joke is all on my critical, extended
family members who just don’t get it. Loosen
up, love ya all. Thanks for helping me up after
being beaten down and left in the gutter. Peace!
