bonded to his sister, Merry. Together they
would be the purr-fect pair for your home.
Gil is a gorgeous black kitten with a tiny
scruff of white under his chin. He has stunning
green eyes and the sweetest little purr. He is
a total love bug! He just demands attention.
He loves to climb, play, run and wrestle his
four siblings. He is curious, silly and sweet.
Gil is an awesome little dude and would love
to have a kitten playmate or two.
Fantastic Mr. Fox is absolutely bursting
with love and affection! He has had a
rough life with being abandoned at a feral
cat colony, but is still friendly, mushy, and
sweet. He starts each day with a little dance
and a floppy-snuggle session. When his
Kitten Rescue mom was able to get him,
poor Mr. Fox was in bad shape. It left him
with stomatitis, which requires medication
to keep inflammation to a minimum. Mr.
Fox is also FIV+, but that does not get this
sweet cuddle-bug down because he knows
FIV+ cats live full and happy lives too!
These days, Fantastic Mr. Fox helps his
foster mom by babysitting two tiny foster
kittens-making sure they play nice and don’t
make a mess. He loves other cats and being
part of a family. Even when you are busy,
he will sit and gaze at you lovingly. Mr. Fox
is a chatty fellow who meows, chirps, trills,
grunts, or squeaks until you provide him with
scratches. Despite being a senior, he is still
very active, mobile, alert, and engaged with
a happy, mellow energy.
These cats and kittens are available for
adoption through Kitten Rescue, one of the
largest cat rescue groups in Southern California.
All our kitties are spayed/neutered,
microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV,
dewormed and current on their vaccinations.
For additional information and to see these
or our other kittens and cats, please check
our website www.kittenrescue.org.
Our Adoption Center is temporarily closed.
In the meantime, we are still conducting
contactless adoptions using all the online
tools at our disposal. To virtually browse our
adoptable cats, please visit our Adoption Gallery
where you can find photos and profiles
of all the cats and kittens we have up for
adoption from our network of foster homes
and from the Sanctuary. At the end of each
cat’s profile is a link to the email address of
the foster parent or adoption counselor, and
you may reach out directly with questions
or to arrange a virtual meeting.
The donations and support we receive from

Saving one animal won’t change the

that animal. •
Purrrfect Companions
Many of the teenage and adult cats we rescue
have been abandoned, neglected, abused, or
dumped at the shelter and find themselves
in a terrifying, lonely new world. They have
withstood hunger, pain, illness and fear to
overcome the odds and survive. They are
supremely deserving and appreciative of a
second chance at life. When you adopt, you
save a life… and in turn enrich your own.
Mama Poppy and her babies were rescued
from the streets after neighbors saw her
starving and struggling to care for her four
kittens. Poppy is a very sweet loving kitty
who clearly had been someone’s pet at some
point before being abandoned on the street.
Poppy and Paisley are the cutest Calico
mother daughter duo; we would love for
them to go to their furever home together!
However, for the right situation we may
be able to adopt them separately. Poppy is
initially very shy with new people, but once
acclimated is a total love bug. Both Poppy
and Paisley are purring machines who enjoy
lounging, grooming each other and requesting
endless belly rubs. Paisley is a curious
happy go lucky kitten ready to play when
she is not cuddling her mama.
Sam is an adorable and very loving little
guy. With his gazing green eyes and cute
pink nose, he is sure to melt your heart. Sam
loves to be pet and craves your affections.
Confident and outgoing, this boy would be
happiest as the only cat in your home..
Merry is an adorable petite kitten who is
spunky and can hold her own in play with her
big brother, Blitzen. She loves to play with
cats during the day and at night, she beds
down with you for long and loving snuggles.
Merry is also used to younger children and
does well respecting children’s space. She
would enjoy playing with children who
can use toys for a game of chase. Merry is
bonded to her brother, Blitzen; they would
love to be adopted together.
Blitzen is a gentle big boy who loves to
play with his sister, Merry. Despite his size,
he is an active kitten who enjoys playing
with other cats. He is very loving and cuddly
towards humans, often spending the entire
night in close contact and cuddles. Blitzen
is also great with younger children. He is

Foster Families Needed
We are in desperate need of foster families!
Back in April, we said that it was “raining”
kittens. Well, now it is “pouring”, and
we need your help.
The launch of our Community Cat Program
leading to TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) projects,
resulted in traps filled with kittens and
the endless pleas for help from the shelters.
Kittens are flooding in daily there. We are
in dire need of more kitten foster parents.
Many of the kittens we find are eating on
their own and need mainly a few weeks of
socialization.
All you need is a small bathroom or play
pen. The kittens just need to be cuddled,
petted and fed. Most older children are great
socializer assistants! We can train anyone
and help with whatever is needed. Fostering
kittens, even for a week or two, is a
tremendous help!
If you are interested in helping us save
more kittens by fostering, just fill out our
foster application- https://kittenrescue.org/

Each new space in a safe foster home
directly allows us to save another litter! •
