Purrrfect Companions
“No home is complete without the pitter
patter of kitty feet”…Unknown.
Camus is a happy little dude who wants
to be a big black lap cat when he grows
up. Camus purrs when you touch him or
even look at him. He’s a cuddler with an
open, expressive personality. He also enjoys
wrestling with his brother Satre or his sister
Beavoir. He’ll never say no to a treat and
gets along great with other kitties and even
dogs! He’s very social and must be in a home
with another cat or two. One of his siblings
Sartre or Beauvoir would be a great choice!
Remember the Harry Potter Weasley twins?
You’re assured a fun-filled time with Fred
and George Weasley. They will entertain
you chasing string or anything with bells in
it. Even a few ice cubes are a chilling thrill
for them. Fred and George will entertain
themselves by playing catch and wrestling
with each other. When it’s time to wind down,
they love laying in and on slippers or laying
under the covers. Fred and George will also
help guard your home and await your return
home by sitting at your windowsill.
Kaeleigh is your girl if you are looking
for some fun and snuggles! She is a
bit timid at first but will warm right up to
you and start purring when you hold her in
your arms. Kaeleigh not afraid of anything.
She is always ready to play and have
fun! She loves climbing up on the highest
tier on the cat tree and snuggle next to
her brother. If you have any ribbons and
feather toys, she will be your new best friend!
Once she has spent her energy, she loves
to curl up with her brother Kamden or next
to you and power nap. She is still very
young and needs to be adopted with her
brother, Kamden
Kamden is such a sweet and thoughtful
kitten with a lot of energy and spunk to back
it up! He is shy at first but is a very confident
kitten once he warms up. He has scaled all
the cat trees at his foster home and has even
conquered the resident dog! He is always
running around with his sister, Kaeleigh,
planning what mischief they will get into
next. When he is not running around, he is
the sweetest little baby ever. He loves to get
his cheeks and chin rubbed along with lots
of kisses! Kamden loves to play with the
dog in his foster home and great with older
cats. Kamden wants to be adopted with his
sister, Kaeleigh.
Salty Joe is an active young boy who lost
his home when his adopters split up. This
curious boy enjoys exploring closets and
drawers and likes to be involved with the
sanctuary staff as they perform their tasks.
Salty Joe can be a bit much for older cats,
but he has a great time playing with the

Kaeleigh
other younger cats. His favorite buddy at the
sanctuary is Crush, an orange tabby fellow
who is also looking for a home. Salty Joe’s
ideal home would be one where his family
would give him lots of attention and play
time. If he could have a young active kitty
to play with, it would make him happy, too.
Salty Joe would not do well in a home as an
only cat if his people had long work hours
and he was alone a lot.
Ada is an awesome Anatolian Shepherd
mix who weighs only about 55 pounds.
She has big brown eyes and a very expressive
face. While you may admire her gorgeous
looks, her personality is even better. Ada
is a very good natured, calm and mellow
dog. She loves going on walks, getting
pettings and curling up next to you. This
beautiful, intelligent girl is good with children,
cats and other dogs. Ada was rescued
from the streets of Istanbul and knows
she is very lucky for that. She hopes her
luck continues by finding a forever home
where she can give and receive lots of love
and affection.
Happy Tails
When Kitten Rescue received an emergency
email from the West Valley shelter, we were
not sure if Sassy was a feral cat or just scared.
Based on the shelter notes and picture: feral.
Based on the video a volunteer took: possibly
tame. Sassy was going to be euthanized by
the end of the day, so we rescued her. If she
was feral, she would be placed as working
cat. If she was tame, Kitten Rescue would
find her a home.
Sassy had to have her eye surgically removed
at Heaven on Earth’s veterinary clinic. Then
she went into foster care with one of our
very loving volunteers. Within days, Sassy
came out of her shell and blossomed into a
playful, loving girl.
This past Sunday, Sassy was delivered to
her new home. She is already sitting on her
new humans’ laps and has her own Instagram
page, where you can follow her at @
sassysarsaparilla.
Rescue isn’t always easy, but it is victories
like this that keep us going. Have a wonderful
life, Sassy!
When you adopt a “pet without a partner”,
you will forever make a difference in their
life and they are sure to make a difference
in yours. •
Sassy moves on to a wonderful new life!
