Purrrfect Companions
Kalakoa Katrina (left) and Vanilla
A cat (or two) makes every home more
fun! Come meet our kitties and be prepared
to fall in love!
Katrina was named after a famous hurricane,
but she will only blow you over with
her sweet charm. Katrina is beautiful and has
a personality to match. Most of the attention,
however, goes to her blue-eyed sister, Vanilla,
and Katrina gets overlooked. The two girls
are inseparable and must be adopted together.
Katrina will bring you joy and happiness
as she flits and pirouettes around the house
to everyone’s amusement! Katrina is also a
lap kitten and will stay with you asking for
more strokes on her silky fur. Both girls are
so amazingly friendly. You can meet both
Katrina and Vanilla at our Adoption Center
where they live.
Louie is a fluffy, quiet and handsome
fellow. He is a part of a bottle-fed litter of
four called the “Duck” litter. His siblings
are Della, Huey and Dewey (Della Duck
is their mom -- Donald’s sister. Who
knew?). Della and Dewey are the most
outgoing and talkative. They are all very
friendly and sweet. This family plays for
endless hours and then crashes out together.
Louie would love to be adopted with one
of his siblings or into a home with a young
cat or kitten.
Looking for a sweet, affectionate roommate?
Darla’s personal ad would read…”Seeking
home for a beautiful, 9-year-old, DSH, fluffy
white.” She was originally rescued from a
Kansas City shelter by a professional ballerina
whose travel schedule has suddenly changed.
Darla is very affectionate and very chatty.
Sadly, her front paws have been declawed,
so she’s an indoor-only cat. Darla is the ideal
companion for a single person working from
home or for a retiree looking for a lap cat
and bedtime snuggler!
Kali’s personality can be summed up in
one word: cuddles. She loves to cuddle so
much that her foster mom calls her Kali
Bug or Cuddle Bug. Kali (aka Kalakoa)
will cuddle almost anytime, but nighttime
is her favorite. Kali’s favorite toys always
involve feathers. During the day she is an
avid bird watcher, chaser and admirer. Kali
is looking for a relaxed home with humans
who just love a silly and snuggly cat. Kali
loves any and all adult humans, but is not
fond of children, other cats or dogs.
Come meet Delphine, a sweetheart of an Abyssinian
Tabby (aka Abby-Tabby) mix. “Del”
is an independent and expressive young lady,
especially after capturing a favorite toy. She
Louie
Delphine
Bellflower
Darla
loves exploring and discovering that perfect,
cozy nook where she can nap or just watch
you work. While not a lap cat, Del enjoys
being wherever you are. In a show of kindness,
she several times presented her toys to
another kitty for whom Del’s foster mum is
caring. The other kitty, named Florence, is
extremely shy, but once she touched noses
with Delphine, the two were fast friends.
Both cats love playing together and chasing
each other around their foster’s home. Once
a young mom herself, all of Delphine’s kittens
have been adopted, and now it’s this
lovely lady’s turn to greet you when you
return home (usually with a favored toy) and
become your forever companion.
Bellflower is a confident girl. She has
strikingly dark tear ducts which give her a
wild look! Bellflower and her sister, Begonia,
are a dynamic pair whose energies are compatible.
Begonia is just a bit more outgoing
than Bellflower, but both girls give off an
air of confident abandon. Bellflower must
be adopted with another cat/kitten. If your
home already has a cat that would play with
her, she can be adopted alone. Otherwise,
Bellflower needs to be adopted with another
kitten. Since she lives at the Adoption Center
with 12 other kittens including five of her
siblings, you will have lots of friends from
which to choose.
These kitties are available for adoption
through Kitten Rescue, one of the largest cat
rescue groups in Southern California. All our
kitties are spayed/neutered, microchipped,
tested for FeLV and FIV, dewormed and
current on their vaccinations. For additional
information and to see these or our other
kittens and cats, please check our website
