CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 2019CU05
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the
Planning Commission of the City of Hawthorne
will hold a public hearing to consider the following
matter:
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2019CU05:
A request to approve the installation of an
illuminated rooftop sign at a new Urth Caffé
measuring 16 feet in height and a maximum
area of 380 square feet.

ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: Conditional
Use Permit No. 2019CU05 is Categorically
Exempt per Section 15311, Class 11,
consisting of construction, or placement
of minor structures accessory to (appurtenant
to) existing commercial, industrial,
or institutional facilities, including but not
limited to; on-premise signs, small parking
lots, placement of seasonal or temporary
use items such as lifeguard towers,
mobile food units, portable restrooms, or
similar items. The restaurant is installing
a roof-top sign measuring a maximum of
16 feet in height and a maximum sign
area of 380 square feet.
PLEASE NOTE that pursuant to Government
Code Section 65009: In an action or
proceeding to attack, review, set aside, void,
or annul a finding, determination or decision
of the Planning Commission or City Council,
the issues raised shall be limited to those
raised at the public hearing in this notice or
in written correspondence delivered to the
Planning Commission or City Council at or
prior to the public hearing.
