Way. Unknown suspect(s) broke into a storage
unit and stole the victim’s property.
Thursday, Dec 9th
A traffic collision (no injuries) occurred
at 0836 hours on Douglas Street and Maple
Avenue, vehicle versus tree.
A burglary (commercial) report was taken
at 0821 hours from the 2100 block of East
Grand Avenue. Unknown suspect(s) broke
into a storage container.
One male adult was arrested at 0821 hours
from Nash Street and El Segundo for possession
of a controlled substance, possession of
drug paraphernalia, one MBPD misdemeanor
warrant, and one MBPD want for burglary.
An obtaining money by false pretenses
report was taken at 1527 hours from the
400 block of Richmond Street. Unknown
suspect(s) were given money under the false
pretense of selling an art piece.
A grand theft report was taken at 1732
hours from the 700 block of North Pacific
Coast Highway. Taken was a laptop and
wallet by unknown suspect(s).
A grand theft report was taken at 1802
hours from the 200 block of North Continental
Boulevard. Unknown suspect(s) stole a
catalytic converter from a 2009 Toyota Prius.
One male adult was arrested at 1951 hours
from Center Street and Grand Avenue for
DUI drugs.
Friday, Dec 10th
A forgery report was taken at 1232 hours
from the 400 block of Continental Boulevard.
Unknown suspect(s) cashed fraudulent checks.
An injury report was taken at 1508 hours
from the 200 block of West Palm Avenue.
A male adult tripped on the sidewalk and
injured his left inner thigh and left upper arm.
One male adult was arrested at 2217 hours
from California Street and Imperial Highway
for not presenting positive identification and
for not having bicycle lights
A resisting arrest report was taken at 0525
hours from Center Street and Imperial Avenue.
Saturday, Dec 11th
A burglary (vehicle) report was taken
at 0731 hours from the 400 block of Valley
Street. Unknown suspect(s) smashed a
window and stole miscellaneous tools from
the victim’s locked vehicle.
One male adult was arrested at 2151 hours
from El Segundo Boulevard and Douglas
Street for two outstanding misdemeanor
warrants out of Torrance and Redondo PD.
One male adult was arrested at 0228 hours
from El Segundo Boulevard and Maryland
Street for misdemeanor DUI with a BAC
above .08%. •
