A stolen vehicle report was taken at 1730
hours from the 400 block of South Douglas
Street. Taken was a 1994 Chevrolet C1500 truck
A grand theft report was taken at 1803
hours from the 200 block of East Oak Avenue.
Unknown suspect(s) stole the catalytic converter
from the victim’s vehicle.
A robbery report was taken at 2039 hours
from the 700 block of South Pacific Coast
Highway. The suspect stole several items and
walked out of the store without paying for
them. The store protection officer attempted
to stop the suspect and the suspect attempted
to strike him.
Thursday, July 15th
An online lost property report was taken at
0850 hours from the 900 block of East Grand
Avenue. Lost was a wallet.
A petty theft report was taken at 1058 hours
from the 700 block of South Pacific Coast
Highway. The suspect stole merchandise from
the store.
A theft by false pretenses report was taken
at 1325 hours from the 800 block of Penn
Street. The suspect fraudulently charged the
victim $3500 to have their lawn fertilized.
One male adult was detained at 1500 hours
from the 1000 block of East Franklin Avenue
and transported to Exodus Culver City for a
72- hour psychological evaluation.
An online petty theft report was taken at
2145 hours from the 500 block of Richmond
Street. Unknown suspect(s) stole a portable
basketball hoop.
Friday, July 16th
One male adult was arrested at 0645 hours
from the 900 block of Main Street for suspicion
of grand theft and for one outstanding LAPD
misdemeanor warrant.
Two female adults were arrested at 0645
hours from the 900 block of Main Street for
suspicion of grand theft, possession of drug
paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled
substance. Additionally, one of the females
had one outstanding LASD felony warrant.
A vehicle was reported stolen at 0726 hours
from the 600 block of West Maple Avenue.
Taken was a 2013 Kia Optima.
A child custody exchange order violation
report was taken at 1512 hours from the 300
block of Main Street.
Two female adults were arrested at 2037
hours from the 1500 of East Oak Avenue for
felony vandalism. They shattered a window
at a motel located in the 1800 block of East
Sycamore Avenue.
An assault with a semiautomatic firearm report
was taken at 2220 hours from Pacific Coast
Highway and Park Place. Unknown suspect(s)
shot at the victim’s vehicle, causing damage
to the vehicle but no injuries to the victim.
One male adult was arrested at 0454 hours
from Pacific Coast Highway North of Imperial
Highway for DUI with a BAC of .08%
or above.
Saturday, July 17th
One male adult was detained at 0933 hours
in the 300 block of Main Street for battery.
The suspect was transported to MLK Medical
Center for 72-hour psychiatric evaluation.
One female adult was arrested at 1228 hours
from the 700 block of South Pacific Coast
Highway for grand theft. The female was
an employee of the business who conducted
fraudulent returns for over $2600.00. •
