Even in the midst of a global healthcare crisis,
rise in homelessness, and an attack against the
Heroes Act, Congresswoman Waters has
continued to fight in Washington to make sure
California residents aren’t left behind.

has been known to have problems with using
the litter box. This behavior is on and off, and
we think that being in a home where he is an
only cat might abate the behavior. We know
it is a looooong shot, but we hope someone
will give this boy who loves the belly rubs, a
chance. Izzy would love a home of this own.
Ron is an adorable orange tabby kitten with
medium length fluffy fur. With his big feet and
long tail, he most likely will grow into a
large cat. Ron is happy sleeping just about
anywhere, including in your bed. He likes
to be picked up and held as long as you are
petting him. You can drape Ron around your
neck and walk around with him. Ron is a
vocal boy and needs a home with another
kitten or cat to play with.
These cats and kittens are available for
adoption through Kitten Rescue, one of the
largest cat rescue groups in Southern California.
All our kitties are spayed/neutered,
microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV,
dewormed and current on their vaccinations.
Temporarily, adoption events are suspended.
For additional information and to see these or
our other kittens and cats, please check our
website www.kittenrescue.org or email us at

With our city and state shut down, we are
faced with the delicate balance to protect our
fellow humans from the spread of COVID-19,
while continuing our mission of saving the
most vulnerable victims of the homeless cat
crisis. We know that these are hard times
for everyone. If you can give a little, it will
go a long way. They are still counting on
us during these difficult times. Your taxdeductible
donations for the rescue and care

Saving one animal won’t change the world,
but the world will surely change for that
animal. •
Purrrfect Companions
Every second of every minute of every day,
a helpless animal is put to death just because
no one was there to take them home. Give
them second chance for love when you adopt
one of these precious kitties. Along with spay
and neutering, if just 2% of the pet-owning
households in America fostered one pet a
year, we could stop euthanizing healthy pets
in shelters.
Tommy is an amazing, especially sweet,
friendly, affectionate cat in the prime of life. He
is curious yet calm, and very smart. Sadly,
Tommy was orphaned when his owner passed
away. Anyone lucky enough to make Tommy
part of their family will be blessed with a loving
and devoted companion. To Tommy, there is
nothing better than following you from room
to room. He is also quick to play, snuggle ans
purr when you pet him, chase toy mice, and
sleep near his family. Occasionally, Tommy
will even engage you in a good conversation,
especially when it is time to get a treat. Tommy
has beautiful markings with a unique black
spot around his right eye. His right hip has
two black spots in the shape of hearts. He is
a lover! And then, there are his expressive,
green eyes. They are gorgeous and shine
with all the great warmth and love Tommy
has to give.
Carly is sweetness personified. She is
lovely and kind, soft and gentle. Carly is a
doll anyway you look at it. She is also playful
and spunky. Carly loves other cats, and
she will need a kitty companion in her new
home. No worries if you do not already have
a young playful cat to be her bud, you can
always adopt her with one of her friends or
siblings. Carly will make a great addition to
your loving home.
All cats are unique, and Izzy is certainly his
own cat. He loves pets and belly rubs and can
be an engaging fellow. He enjoys playing with
toys but is not overly active. Izzy will make
a chirping sound when he purrs that lets you
know that he is super content with the pets. Izzy
