Even in the midst of a global healthcare crisis,
rise in homelessness, and an attack against the
Heroes Act, Congresswoman Waters has
continued to fight in Washington to make sure

NOVEMBER 3RD
PAID FOR BY CITIZENS FOR WATERS, FEC ID # COOH7585 249 OCEAN BLVD STE 685 LONG BEACH CA. 90820
Axle hitched a ride under a car and survived
a 25-mile-long freeway trip before being heard
and rescued! This gorgeous guy has a bright
orange tabby striped coat. He is a sweet, affectionate
boy with a relaxing purr and way
about him. You can smother him with kisses,
and he loves it! Axle loves to play with the
other kittens, chase feather wands around,
and cuddling with humans. He is a perfect,
well-mannered kitten. Axle is still young and
needs to be adopted into a home with another
young, playful kitty or together with a Kitten
Rescue kitten.
These cats and kittens are available for adoption
through Kitten Rescue, one of the largest
cat rescue groups in Southern California. All
our kitties are spayed/neutered, microchipped,
tested for FeLV and FIV, dewormed and current
on their vaccinations. Temporarily, adoption
events are suspended. For additional information
and to see these or our other kittens and cats,
please check our website www.kittenrescue.org
or email us at mail@kittenrescue.org.
With our city and state shut down, we are
faced with the delicate balance to protect our
fellow humans from the spread of COVID-19,
while continuing our mission of saving the
most vulnerable victims of the homeless cat
crisis. We know that these are hard times for
everyone. If you can give a little, it will go a
long way. They are still counting on us during
these difficult times. Your tax-deductible
donations for the rescue and care of our cats
and kittens can be made through our website
or by sending a check payable to Kitten Rescue,
914 Westwood Blvd. #583, Los Angeles,
CA 90024.
Saving one animal won’t change the world, but
the world will surely change for that animal. •
Purrrfect Companions
Every second of every minute of every day,
a helpless animal is put to death just because
no one was there to take them home. Give
them second chance for love when you adopt
one of these precious kitties. Along with spay
and neutering, if just 2% of the pet-owning
households in America fostered one pet a
year, we could stop euthanizing healthy pets
in shelters.
Emmy is sweet, clever, bright-eyed, and
with a talent for finding just the right sized
hollow for a nap. She is intelligent, curious
and will always reward your attention with
affection and a tiny meow. When she gets
comfortable with you, Emmy will settle in
for long naps on your lap. She loves boxes,
scaling tall heights, dinner time, and meaningful
eye contact. While she enjoys playing
with others, she is more than happy to keep
herself occupied. Emmy will be an excellent
companion and is sure to bring comfort and
humor to her future home.
Hobbes is a handsome young kitty loves
to play, get attention, explore boxes and
enjoy yummy treats! Hobbes is not a fan of
other cats and would prefer to be your one
and only. He might do fine with a confident
female who has a sense of humor. Hobbes
was found as a stray cat and he can’t wait to
find his forever home.
Astra is super curious and rushes to meet
new people who come into her space. She is
the first one to notice a new toy, a new perch,
a new hiding spot. Astra loves chewing on hair
and will nibble playfully. She is super tiny
with a small sweet face, but she can be fierce
playing and jumping up to catch a mouse on
a string. Hold Astra in your arms and she will
look up at you lovingly with a rumbling purr.
