Sylvester Yoda

Yoda is an outgoing guy, who likes people
but is not a fan of other cats. This kitty was
returned by an adopter after the adopter’s
allergies became too much for him to keep
Yoda. Yoda was a wee bit overweight when
he was returned, (we called him Jabba when
he first arrived), but with limited kibble, he
has slowly lost some of the weight. Yoda is
a bit of a chatty catty which may be to get
attention focused on him vs. the other kitties.
Or maybe he is trying to give us tremendously
important insight into the universe that we
just do not understand because we don’t
speak “cat”very well. Yoda is looking for a
home that enjoys an outgoing kitty, and can
feed primarily wet food to keep his path to
a healthy weight going
These cats and kittens are available for
adoption through Kitten Rescue, one of the
largest cat rescue groups in Southern California.
All our kitties are spayed/neutered,
microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV,
dewormed and current on their vaccinations.

our fellow humans from the spread of

saving the most vulnerable victims of the

Purrrfect Companions
Why are there so many kittens and cats out
there to save? An unspayed kitten can begin
to have babies at as young as 5-6 months of
age. With kittens themselves having kittens in
a season that lasts for at least seven months,
the birth rate in just one year is explosive. We
will never run out of kittens; what we fight
so hard to end is the unnecessary suffering
and death of those mamma cats and babies
born on the streets. Please spay and neuter
your pets; assistance is available! Along
with spay and neutering, if just 2% of the
pet-owning households in America fostered
one pet a year, we could stop euthanizing
healthy pets in shelters.
Gumdrop is a handsome, friendly, affectionate
boy with an adorable pink nose
and a wonderful disposition. He is fond of
pets and is not shy about seeking you out
for attention. He gets very excited and vocal
at mealtimes and is an exceptionally good
eater. In addition to naps while curled up
with you, he likes to play with catnip mice
and lounge on the cat tree watching birds fly
by the window. Gumdrop is a cool kitty that
prefers to reign supreme as the only cat in
the house, so he needs to be adopted into a
home with no other cats.
Burt is a good-natured cat who is comfortable
around other cats and has had some
exposure to dogs. His ears are a little scarred
and misshapen, but we think that just makes
him cuter! This easy going guy would love
to be someone’s personal lap cat and could
be happy as an only cat getting all of the
attention for himself. He would also be content
sharing a home with a mellow cat buddy.
Burt is looking forward to finding a quiet
home together with that special someone.
Sylvester is a kitten rescued who was
rescued off the streets. He was found all
by himself scared and hungry, just trying
to survive. He has adjusted quite well to
the good indoor life at his foster home.
Sylvester gets along well with other kitties
although he might be very happy as an only
kitty getting all of your undivided attention.
Sylvester loves to run around and play for
hours and at the same time, he is also quite
cuddly and affectionate.
Shiloh and Sherry are sisters and best
friends. Tragically, they lost both their
human mom and dad to COVID this year
and are now orphans. Although they are
confused and sad, Shiloh and Sherry are
still sweet and good natured and ready to
find someone new to share their lives and
love with. This is what their family member
wrote about them: “Shiloh and Sherry go
together like peanut butter and jelly. You
can always count on walking in on the two
of them lying next to each other or sitting
together on the window ledge, just watching
the world go by. Their favorite pastime is
taking a nap with their human on the recliner,
always ready for a good cuddle. They prefer
soft food to crunchy food, but don’t worry,
these healthy girls will never turn down a
meal.” These beautiful sisters have a lot of
love to give. Wouldn’t you like to make
their hearts whole again and let them bring
