my time. I acted in ways I’m not proud of.
I had the wrong ideas of ‘role models’ and
followed the wrong people. But by far, the
worst thing I did was throw away what I had
ingrained in me at an early age. That being,
I stopped having the curiosity to learn new
skills and experience new things.
I’m nearly twenty-five years old and these
past few years have been a sobering experience.
I became a highly involved college student,
learned ways in how to support my peers,
learned new methods in how to be respectful
and thoughtful of others, and I’ve gained tons
of new skills that I never knew I was missing
out on. When I say those moments are the most
positively challenging and most exciting times I
had as a student, I mean it. I even had the honor
to have had the opportunity of leading a club
on campus and I am very grateful for that
experience, but that’s a topic for another time.
For now, I want you to think about this: when
you finish reading this article, what are you
going to do? Are you heading out to work? Are
you going to do some grocery shopping? Are
you needing to find some important documents
you may have misplaced somewhere inside
your home? Before you go and do your daily
tasks, I would ask that you take a step back
for a moment, think about something small
you can improve on (maybe something you
never felt needed improving), and try new
techniques you never thought of trying. See how
it makes you feel. It could be anything from
your method of wiping rain spots off of your
car window to how you greet your neighbor.
Regardless of the outcome, you can always
find positive take-aways in making those few
seconds of breaking away from normal routine
extra meaningful. That’s only one of the many
ways you can find for valuing your time. •

BIDDERS: If you are considering bidding on
this property lien, you should understand that
there are risks involved in bidding at a trustee
auction. You will be bidding on a lien, not on
the property itself. Placing the highest bid at a
trustee auction does not automatically entitle
you to free and clear ownership of the property.
You should also be aware that the lien being
auctioned off may be a junior lien. If you are
the highest bidder at the auction, you are or
may be responsible for paying off all liens
senior to the lien being auctioned off, before
you can receive clear title to the property. You
are encouraged to investigate the existence,
priority, and size of outstanding liens that may
exist on this property by contacting the county
recorder’s office or a title insurance company,
either of which may charge you a fee for
this information. If you consult either of these
resources, you should be aware that the same
lender may hold more than one mortgage or
deed of trust on the property. NOTICE TO
PROPERTY OWNER: The sale date shown
on this notice of sale may be postponed one
or more times by the mortgagee, beneficiary,
trustee, or a court, pursuant to Section 2924g
of the California Civil Code. The law requires
that information about trustee sale postponements
be made available to you and to the
public, as a courtesy to those not present at
the sale. If you wish to learn whether your sale
date has been postponed, and, if applicable,
the rescheduled time and date for the sale of
this property, you may call 800-280-2832 for
information regarding the trustee’s sale or visit
this Internet Web site http://www.qualityloan.

foreclosure by the Trustee: CA-18-845436-BF.
Information about postponements that are very
short in duration or that occur close in time
to the scheduled sale may not immediately
be reflected in the telephone information or
on the Internet Web site. The best way to
verify postponement information is to attend
the scheduled sale. The undersigned Trustee
disclaims any liability for any incorrectness of the
property address or other common designation,
if any, shown herein. If no street address or
other common designation is shown, directions
to the location of the property may be obtained
by sending a written request to the beneficiary
within 10 days of the date of first publication of
this Notice of Sale. If the sale is set aside for
any reason, including if the Trustee is unable
to convey title, the Purchaser at the sale shall
be entitled only to a return of the monies paid
to the Trustee. This shall be the Purchaser’s
sole and exclusive remedy. The purchaser shall
have no further recourse against the Trustor,
the Trustee, the Beneficiary, the Beneficiary’s
Agent, or the Beneficiary’s Attorney. If you have

this stuff but not really. They don’t have the
heart to tell me to shut up. They don’t want
to hurt my feelings. I really don’t care if you
are a “fake loyal reader”. I’ve been faking
it for a long time. The old motto is: “fake
it to make it”. If you don’t know how to
do something, just fake it, just act like you
know what you are doing and people will
believe you. Believe me, I’m as real as I
can be, unless I’m faking it. Go ponder that
one. Have a great week, may the peace of
the Lord be with you all!
Memories or Photos?
Walt is a friend mine. He read my blurb
about having to clean out my mother-inlaw’s
house last week. He asked, why do we
hang on to so much junk? We are addicted
to material things. We save things to pass
on to our children, but most of the time
they don’t want them. We have collections
of baseball cards, or dishes, or stamps, or
match boxes, but when we are gone, no one
really cares to store them. What should we
save? Our memories, memories of the love
we shared. Memories of the good times we
had together. Walt recently traveled with his
wife to Hawaii. He said they came back with
exactly one photo on his cell phone. My
friend said that the memories and pictures
in his head will last until he dies. Don’t
we all have thousands of photos saved on
our cell phones or computers of which we
barely look at? We all listened this week
to Kobe’s widow talk not so much about his
accomplishments but more about what kind of
husband and father he was to his family. A
real hero in life is someone who loves those
that God has given them to love. When all
of our earthly possessions are gone, what
remains is the love God gives us to share
with others. We learn from tragedies the
things that really are most valuable. Keep
taking those photos, both with your cell
phone and your mental camera. Treasure
those memories, love your loved ones just as
God loves you. May God continue to bless
you and your family and may the peace of
God be with you always.
Coming Clean
Okay, now I have some Johnny-comelately
readers who asked if they could be
my #20 and #21 loyal readers. They claim
that they DO read my weekly dribble. These
people are coming out from the shadows or
the closet, they have been flying under the
radar, maybe they’re transitioning from being
afraid to admit their readership to now
espousing their loyalty. It’s like 2016 and
no one wanted to be identified as a Trump
voter but 63 million people did end up voting
for the guy. It’s okay to admit that you
enjoy reading about cold ones and the fact
that you are loved by God, and that there
is absolutely nothing you can do to prevent
yourself from growing old and dying. Come
clean. You will feel better if you just admit
it. Tell your old lady that you sneak a peak
at this trash heap of old worn out cliques’
once a week. Take a step of faith and trust
that you will still be accepted by those who
supposedly love you. Standing up and admitting
your addiction is the first step that
leads to recovery. Life is better when you
come clean. You can look yourself in the
mirror knowing you have nothing to hide.
We all have dirty underwear in our life long
suitcases. Just throw out that burdensome
baggage and live. If reading my drabble
makes you feel good, then pop open a cold
one and you will really feel good. Celebrate
your cleanliness!
