Purrrfect Companions
Amalia Bear
“Second-hand” cats make first-class companions.
Give one of these kitties another chance
by giving them a lifetime of love with you.
Noah and Ryder are “brothers from another
mother.” These two boys may not be littermates,
but they’ve been together most of their lives
and can’t imagine being separated. Together,
they run around, wrestle and box each other.
Then they settle in on the couch or in the sink
for a nap. They love to play with yarn, teaser
toys and even a human’s long hair…absolutely
the sweetest boys you will ever meet.
Ryder is white with black spots – he’s the
oldest (by two whole weeks) and it shows. He’s
the cool older brother who pretends he doesn’t
care if his human gives him love. That lasts
a short time until he remembers how much
he loves pets and cuddles and so he gives in.
He’s also super smart. He learned right away
where to go at dinnertime (so his foster mom
can keep her own cats from stealing his food)
and Noah follows him there, making dinnertime
as easy as pie.
Noah, the tabby, is the overexcited little
brother who wants to be friends with everyone
he meets – human or feline alike. He doesn’t
always notice if they don’t want to be friends
with him, though. Fortunately, he has always
got his BFF Ryder around if the other kitties
don’t want to play with him. He’s very talkative
and just loves kisses. He likes to follow his
human around asking to picked up. He comes
running to join the fun any time Ryder is getting
attention, but Ryder doesn’t mind at all.
Bear is a gentle, lovey, friendly, fellow with
a heart of gold. He has a bit of an underbite
that sometimes makes him look serious, but
his un-catlike gait about the house reveals his
goofier side. He was bottle-fed as a baby and
is very attached to humans. He and his foster
sister were adopted into a ruckus household
of young musicians. Through no fault of his
own, he and his foster sister were returned
three years later. He is used to a busy home
with lots of people coming and going. He is
patient with children and great with new cats.
Bear would prefer a home where the humans
are around most of the time and at least one
other cat friend is there to keep him company.
He has terrific social skills and is adept at
making other cats feel at ease.
These three littermates -- Roman, Amalia
and Siena -- are amazing kittens. They have
uniquely different personalities and are very
darling. They are energetic and playful with
distinct marking, spotted bellies and sharp,
pointed ears like the original Egyptian cats.
They are so full of joy and curiosity about
everything. They love all other kitties they meet
and also love people. They are very social and

need a companion like another affectionate and
playful cat… or they would love to be adopted
with one of their darling siblings.
Roman greets everyone and is all-boy with
his endless enthusiasm, energy and curiosity.
When you bring home groceries, he wants to
inspect everything. When you sweep, he wants
to “help.” He is a charmer who loves life. He
wants to play, eat and find a comfortable lap
on which to sleep it off. Then repeat. Roman
will happily roll over anytime to show off his
round belly.
Siena is curious, smart, mischievous and
poetic. She purrs like an aria, hears something
in another room and must investigate, and plays
with reckless abandon. She is very affectionate
with people and trusts that the world is
all good. She is fearless little girl. Siena is
a friendly, social gal who is okay with other
mellow, beta cats. She is a precious, gentle,
sweet and loving little girl.
Amalia is an angel: a rambunctious, curious
and charismatic angel! She is a social butterfly
and wants to be where the action is. Amalia
will follow you like a duckling. “Oh, are we
doing laundry now? Cool! We are getting the
mail? Awesome!” She is very social with people
and other cats, initiates play with toys or goes
to find someone who is alone to give snuggles.
Cutie patootie alert! Meet Cora. We are in
love with this little nugget. Some of Cora’s
favorite things are playing ball, being petted,
getting under-the-chin scratches, napping in her
kitty hammock and snuggling with her sisters.
Cora is a little shy, but warms up quickly and
loves to play with other kitties.
These kitties are available for adoption
through Kitten Rescue, one of the largest cat
rescue groups in Southern California. All our
