Abad Receives Citizen of the Year Award
At the recent Chamber Salute to El Segundo
mixer at Mattel that also honored current and
past mayors, local realtor and resident Alex
Abad received his certificate for Citizen of the
Year awarded by the El Segundo Chamber.
Among his philanthropic efforts, Abad spearheaded
the Tower 60 Paint It Pink project and
through that helped raise substantial monies to
benefit local schools. Pictured in the photo are

School. The school received over 200 amazing
entries of artwork, photos, dance, literature,
videos and music. Three students from each
Holiday Mixer Highlights
category were recognized for their outstanding
