This adorable 7 month old domestic short
hair female kitty can be shy at first but give
her some time and she’ll be as sweet as
molasses. She enjoys long pets and yummy
treats. Molasses would do best with a quieter
home where she can be given plenty love
and attention. https://spcala.com/adoptable/

Sweet boy Charlie appreciates a good
brushing! He is a male 8 year,7 month old
German Shepherd Husky. So far, he’s been
very tolerant of bath time, and has shown us
to be a friendly and attentive fellow. He’s
relatively easy to leash and is working on
his basic training. He likes to explore first,
and may even coax you into a game of fetch.
Once he’s worked on his “zoomies” he is
ready for sit, find it and the name game.
Charlie is a strong, happy dog so someone
with big breed experience would be ideal.
If you are thinking about adding to your
family, think about Charlie! https://spcala.

Happy Tails
After 586 days in the shelter, we are ECSTATIC
to share that Chato is home! His
new mom and dad heard about him from
another potential adopter. They came to
spcaLA South Bay Pet Adoption Center to
meet him and fell in love. It has taken him
some time, but he is slowly warming up and
Garbanzo is a cute little 4 month old
male domestic medium hair kitty who came
to the shelter all alone. He was found by
Lawndale High School. He would love a
mellow environment since he prefers things
on the chill side. This is one little bean you
won’t want to pass up! https://spcala.com/

Are you looking for a handsome and lively
dog, bursting with personality and happiness?
It’s Guerro a 5 year old male Pit Bull
Mix! He is a volunteer favorite. He is ready
to work during training time and practices
sit, down, and find it. His favorite game is
fetch. He also likes to relax and get lots of
cuddles and sweet talk.Guerro came to the
shelter because his owner could no longer
care for him. He lived in a home for seven
years with children, spending most of his
time outside. That must’ve been so hard
for Guerro, because he loves affection and
human interaction. Does he sound like the
dog for you? Apply to adopt Guerro! https://

Though such a long shelter stay is not
ideal, spcaLA is able to keep a pet like
Chato happy and engaged until they find their
forever home because of the dedicated staff
and volunteers and our donors. To adopt or

Congratulations to Chato and his new family.
