One male adult was arrested at 0825 hours
from the 600 block of Loma Vista Street for
one ESPD misdemeanor warrant and for a
probation violation.
One male adult was arrested at 1002 hours
from the 2000 block of East Maple Avenue
for drunk in public.
A criminal threats report was taken at
1020 hours from the 500 block of North
Pacific Coast Highway. Unknown suspect(s)
threatened to harm the victim.
A petty theft (vehicle) report was taken
at 1207 hours from the 700 block of South
Pacific Coast Highway. Unknown suspect(s)
entered an unlocked vehicle and took the
victim’s property.
A burglary (vehicle) report was taken at
1409 hours from the 800 block of South
Douglas Street. Unknown suspect(s) broke
into the victim’s vehicle and took his property.
A counterfeit money report was taken at
1439 hours from the 300 block of Main Street.
The suspect gave the victim counterfeit bills in
exchange for property the victim was selling.

Avenue. Unknown suspect(s) stole the catalytic
converter from the victim’s vehicle.
Thursday, Sept 30th
A traffic collision (no injuries) occurred
at 0832 hours in the 2100 block of East El
Segundo Boulevard, vehicle versus vehicle.
A traffic collision (no injuries) occurred
at 0942 hours on Pacific Coast Highway
and Walnut Avenue, three vehicles involved.
A dead body report was taken at 1041 hours
from the 2500 block of East El Segundo
Boulevard. A female adult passed away from
natural causes.
One male adult was arrested at 1448 hours
from the 200 block of North Continental
Boulevard for grand theft auto, vandalism,
resisting, delaying, or obstructing a police
officer, and one misdemeanor warrant out
of LASO.
A grand theft and identity theft report
were taken at 1825 hours from the 700
block of South Pacific Coast Highway. The
victim left her wallet at the business register
after checking out and shortly returned but
the wallet was missing. The suspects also
attempted to make purchases using the victim’s
credit cards.
One female adult was arrested at 2342
hours from the 600 block of North Pacific
Coast Highway for misdemeanor DUI.
A court order violation report was taken
at 0542 hours from the 1800 block of East
Sycamore Avenue.
Friday, Oct 1st
A traffic collision (no injuries) occurred
at 0530 hours from the 500 block of West
Palm Avenue, vehicle versus parked vehicle.
A child custody exchange order violation
report was taken at 1022 hours from the 200
block of Sheldon Street.
An injury report was taken at 2042 hours
from the 600 block of Main Street during
the high school football game.
An injury report was taken at 0051 hours
from the 200 block of Standard Street. A
female adult fell and obtained injuries; she
was transported by ESFD to Harbor- UCLA
medical center.
Saturday, Oct 2nd
An injury report was taken at 1052 hours
from the 800 block of Constitution Park.
One male adult was arrested at 1302 hours
from the 500 block of Illinois Street for four
outstanding misdemeanor warrants out of
various cities.
A battery report was taken at 1412 hours
from the 700 block of North Pacific Coast
Highway. A suspect threw a cup of water
at the victim.
A petty theft report was taken at 1432
hours from the 700 block of South Pacific
Coast Highway. Unknown suspect(s) stole
the victim’s cellphone from her workplace.
One male adult was arrested at 1604 hours
from Pacific Coast Highway and Walnut
Avenue for public intoxication.
One male adult was detained at 2127 hours
from the 700 block of North Pacific Coast
Highway and transported to Exodus Medical
Center for a 72-hour psychiatric evaluation.

Highway for possession of drug paraphernalia

CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION LIMITS
IN FAVOR OF STATE LAW CAMPAIGN
CONTRIBUTION LIMITS TO BE
ENFORCED BY THE FAIR POLITICAL
PRACTICES COMMISSION.
SUMMARY OF ADOPTED ORDINANCE
Pursuant to Assembly Bill (“AB”) 571,
which became effective on January 1,
2021, the state established baseline,
default local campaign contribution
limits for cities and counties that had not
yet adopted their own specified limits.
This Ordinance repeals the 2008 City
campaign contribution limits and adopts
the limit set forth in AB 571 of $4,700 per
person, per election, subject to periodic
increase by the California Fair Political
Practices Commission.
The whole number of the City Council of
said City is five. The foregoing Ordinance
No. 1628 was duly introduced by said
City Council at a regular meeting held
on the 15th day of June, 2021, and was
duly passed and adopted by said City
Council, approved and signed by the
Mayor, and attested to by the City Clerk,
all at a regular meeting of said Council
held on the 17th day of August, 2021, and
the same was so passed and adopted by
the following vote:
