Our Adoption Center is temporarily closed.
In the meantime, we are still conducting
contactless adoptions using all the online
tools at our disposal. To virtually browse our
adoptable cats, please visit our Adoption Gallery
where you can find photos and profiles
of all the cats and kittens we have up for
adoption from our network of foster homes
and from the Sanctuary. At the end of each
cat’s profile is a link to the email address of
the foster parent or adoption counselor, and
you may reach out directly with questions
or to arrange a virtual meeting.

Purrrfect Companions
Many of the teenage and adult cats we rescue
have been abandoned, neglected, abused, or
dumped at the shelter and find themselves
in a terrifying, lonely new world. They have
withstood hunger, pain, illness and fear to
overcome the odds and survive. They are
supremely deserving and appreciative of a
second chance at life. Waiting for adoption
are cats and kittens of every age, color and
personality. When you adopt, you save a
life… and in turn enrich your own.
Maple once had a home of her own but
was left behind when her family bought a
fancy home and decided that they did not want
her anymore. After they moved, a neighbor
found poor Maple hiding in the shed and
called Kitten Rescue for help. This sweet,
mellow girl is fine with other cats, but really
just wants to chill with her human. If you
want to bypass all that kitten craziness and
just want a snuggle pal, Maple is your girl.
She does not need a big house, just a person
(or people) with a big heart, who will never
let her down again.
Portia is a special, darling creature who
is shy, but shows her gregarious side once
she is comfortable with you. This special
girl likes to hide, but when she emerges,
seeks pets and attention. Portia has a deep
gray coat and captivating green eyes. She
also has the most beautiful soprano mew but
does not always show off her singing skills.
Portia is looking for a home with a patient,
loving family that will let her blossom on
her own time.
Garfield is a very affectionate young kitten
and would love to nap right next to you. He
is always ready for a belly rub and a cuddle.
As most active little boys, he enjoys playing
with his toys. True to nis namesake, Garfield
has a great appetite and may attempt (without
much covering or pretense) to sneak a nibble
of your food.
Pinky is the small but mighty adventurer
of the family. Pinky has never met a toy she
did not love. She will also race around playing
until she curls up by your side ready for
lots of petting and love. Pinky has the loudest
purr and loves to follow her humans around,
curious to find the next adventure that will
come her way. Her favorite place in the house
will be perched on your shoulder. Pinky is
bonded with her calm and gentle sister, Inky.
Inky is a little lap cat in training, with
silky, soft fur. She is calm and gentle, always
ready to greet you with a purr and a leg rub.
Inky has a playful side too! As much as she
loves your lap, she cannot resist a cardboard
box or a catnip mouse. She loves attention
from her foster family is bonded with her
sister, Pinky. Adopt Inky and Pinky together,
and you will have the perfect pair.
Shimmer is named after a dragon princess
and with good reason. She is regal, majestic,
confident, kind, and generous! Shimmer
loves to be held and pampered like a proper
princess. She will flit about, playing, romping,
and making sure all her dragon siblings stay
on their best behavior. Shimmer needs to be
adopted with one of her siblings, Figment,
Norbert, or Eustace, or into a household with
another young/active cat.
These cats and kittens are available for
adoption through Kitten Rescue, one of the
largest cat rescue groups in Southern California.
All our kitties are spayed/neutered,
microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV,
dewormed and current on their vaccinations.

or our other kittens and cats, please check

The Marathon is our second largest fundraiser

some making up to do!
What do you get when you join one of our
teams? Lots of cool perks - check the marathon
link in our bio on Facebook.
