Pearl is a sweet and special little 10 year
old Corgi/Cardigan Welsh Mix girl, and a staff
and volunteer favorite. She was abandoned
at a nearby veterinary hospital and brought
to spcaLA. Since she has been with us, our
medical team has treated her for a skin condition.
At some point in her life, she sustained
an injury and is unable to use her back legs.
Our maintenance staff built and fitted her for
a cart (or wheelchair), and there is no stopping
her now! She loves to scoot about the
play yard and soak in the sun. She is food
motivated and the volunteers have taught
her sit and settle, and she delights in playing
the name game. Her favorite activity is
being pet, especially around the neck, head
and belly. If you have room in your heart
and home for a special needs doggie, apply
for Pearl today! https://spcala.com/adoptable/

Logan is 10 years old, but that did not deter
his adopters. Age is just a number! Senior
dogs, may be less active then younger pets,
but you can teach them new tricks! •
Congratulations to Logan and his new family.
