Purrrfect Companions
Meridia Jonesy
Every second of every minute of every day,
a helpless animal is put to death just because
no one was there to take them home. Give
them second chance for love when you adopt
one of these precious kitties. You can also
check out their friends on our website www.

Lois came into rescue with her kittens from
a Los Angeles area shelter. It might be bold
to say, but Lois is a perfect cat! She is outgoing,
enjoys meeting people, is playful but not
overly energetic, and enjoys getting belly rubs.
Lois is an adaptable kitty who would do well
in many different types of homes. She could
be happy as a companion to one person or
could do well living with a family. If you’re
looking for a beauty, check out her unusual
ticked pattern coat! Lois is waiting to find her
forever home with you!
Jonesy is absolutely the most affectionate
kitten ever. He is always there to greet everyone
and is the sweetest little boy when you
need cuddles. Although he is the only boy in
his litter, he does not let his sisters push him
around. He can rough and tumble with the best
of them! Jonesy loves to play with his foster
mom’s dog, is great with older cats and has
socialized with other humans. Jonesy is still
very young and needs to be adopted with
one of his siblings – Adeline, Pippa, Kayden,
Maisey, Paisley or Tabitha.
Caramel was left in a box in the driveway
at our sanctuary in 2013 and has been patiently
waiting for a home of his own since then.
He’s a little slow to warm up to strangers,
but once he does, he really enjoys getting pets
and attention. He loves to hop on the bunk
beds when we are putting down fresh sheets
and roll around “helping” to make the beds.
Caramel gets along well with the cats at our
sanctuary. He would be fine going as a solo
kitty or into a home with other cats.
Phoenix is a handsome young man with a
gorgeous tuxedo coat, a gentle disposition and
a chill personality. He loves to cuddle and will
seek you out with a cute “meow” to ask for a
cuddle session. Phoenix is a great daddy figure
to the young foster kittens he shares a home
with. He plays with them, grooms them and
naps beside them. He has one enlarged pupil
as a result of a previous untreated infection.
The vet said his eye is completely healed and
he can still see out of it. Phoenix is an easygoing
kitty. He could be adopted as an only cat,
with one of his foster siblings or into a home
with an existing kitty.
Puff is a sweet, but shy 1-year-old boy. He
has the softest medium-length fur, as he is

part Maine Coon. Puff needs to be in a quiet
gentle home with one of his siblings (LJ or
Skunk) or even his mom Lizzie. He likes to
play with things he can bat at and loves to
hang around while you are on the computer.
He would be okay with a sibling and a gentle
dog. If you are looking for a gorgeous and
gentle, non-aggressive kitty, Puff is your guy.
Lizzie is the most gentle and loving cat.
She follows you around like a puppy dog.
This sweet girl has the softest fur and wants
to be petted as much as you will pet her.
Lizzie loves to be held like a little rag doll.
She doesn’t jump up on couches or beds or
counters. She would best as an only pet or
she would love to be adopted with one of her
babies, LJ, Puff or Skunk.
Meridia is beautiful to behold, but behold
from afar, as this shy, “soft feral” kitty will take
time to let you get close. So, why do we think
anyone would want to adopt her if they can’t hold
her and cuddle her? Because Meridia enjoys the
company of other cats and could be the perfect
companion for your kitty. Or because you love
cats and love challenges. Plus, Meridia is awfully
cute. She was pulled from the pound with
her kittens and was such a great mommy. Once
her kittens were weaned, she came to live
at our sanctuary with other shy kitties. But
we have found that with time, Meridia will
let some of the staff and volunteers pet her.
We think she’ll come around with time and
patience (probably).
These cats and kittens are available for adoption
through Kitten Rescue, one of the largest
cat rescue groups in Southern California. All
our kitties are spayed/neutered, microchipped,
tested for FeLV and FIV, dewormed and current
on their vaccinations. For additional information
