transported to Harbor Exodus Medical Center
for a 72-hour psychiatric evaluation.
A shoplifting report was taken at 1330
hours from the 700 block of South Pacific
Coast Highway. Three unknown suspect(s)
stole merchandise.
One female adult was detained at 1544 hours
from the 500 block of North Pacific Coast
Highway for shoplifting. She was cited and
released in the field with a citation.
A grand theft report was taken at 1706 hours
from the 2200 block of East Mariposa Avenue.
Stolen was a bicycle.
A stolen vehicle report was taken at 2031
hours from the 500 block of Center Street.
Stolen was a 2006 Suzuki Motorcycle.
A grand theft report was taken at 2206 hours
from the 1900 block of East Mariposa Avenue.
Unknown suspects removed $2000 dollars from
the victim’s unlocked vehicle.
Thursday, February 17th
A vehicle was reported stolen at 0700 hours
from the 800 block of South Douglas Street.
Taken was a 2018 Honda Civic.
An annoying phone call(s) report was taken at
1857 hours from the 500 block of Whiting Street.
A felony evading report was taken at 0039
hours from Grand Avenue and Kansas Street.
A felony hit and run report was taken at
0124 hours from Imperial Avenue and Loma
Vista Street, vehicle versus pole.
Friday, February 18th
A recovered license plates report was taken
at 0948 hours from the 800 block of North
Pacific Coast Highway.
A grand theft report was taken at 1117
hours from the 2500 block of East El Segundo
Boulevard. Unknown suspect stole $950 worth
of shoes.
A stolen license plate report was taken
at 1206 hours from the 700 block of North
Douglas Street.
One male adult was cited and released at
1603 hours in the 700 block of South Pacific
Coast Highway for shoplifting.
One male adult was arrested at 1539 hours
from Grand Avenue and Maryland Street for
one felony parole warrant.
One male adult was arrested at 1909 hours
from the 600 block of North Pacific Coast
Highway for misdemeanor DUI and for being
on DUI probation.
Traffic accident (no injuries) report was
taken at 1818 hours from the 600 block of
North Pacific Coast Highway, vehicle versus
vehicle.
An online report was taken at 0028 hours
from the 800 block of Apollo Street. An
unknown suspect(s) scammed the victim into
wiring money to a fraudulent account.
Saturday, February 19th
An injury report was taken at 0724 hours
from Pine Avenue and Sierra Street. A bicyclist
struck a parked vehicle.
A petty theft report was taken at 0827 hours
from the 1400 block of East Imperial Avenue.
Unknown suspect(s) stole an e-bicycle charger.
An injury report was taken at 1017 hours
from the 200 block of Vista Del Mar. A bicyclist
collided into a runner causing injuries to both.
A burglary (residential) report was taken at
1050 hours from the 900 block of Main Street.
Unknown suspect(s) stole a beach cruiser from
a secured parking garage.
One male adult was arrested at1409 hours
from the 100 block of South Pacific Coast
Highway for possession of drug paraphernalia
and one Downey PD misdemeanor warrant.
An attempt burglary (auto) report was taken
at 1904 hours from the 700 block of West Imperial
Avenue. Unknown suspect(s) attempted
to break into the victim’s vehicle. •
