Police Reports
Monday, January 31st
A felony vandalism report was taken at
0715 hours from the 100 block of North
Pacific Coast Highway. Unknown suspect(s)
damaged a sign at the location.
A license plates report was taken at 1216
hours from Imperial Avenue and Main Street.
Two stolen license plates were recovered on
a vehicle that was not stolen.
A dead body report was taken at 1634 hours
from the 200 block of South Douglas Street.
An attempt suicide report was taken at
1842 hours from the 600 block of Loma
Vista Street. A male adult was transferred to
Centinela Hospital by ESFD.
Tuesday, February 1st
Tuesday’s police report was not available
at the time of publishing.
Wednesday, February 2nd
A residential burglary report was taken
at 0921 hours from the 700 block of West
Imperial Avenue. Unknown suspect(s) stole
a bicycle from an attached carport.
A grand theft report was taken at 0933 hours
from the 600 block of East Imperial Avenue.
Unknown suspect(s) stole a catalytic converter.
A found property report was taken at 1033
hours from the 300 block of East Grand Avenue.
Found was a loaded revolver.
One male adult was arrested at 1242 hours
from the 600 block of North Pacific Coast
Highway for burglary and resisting arrest.
A traffic accident (with injuries) occurred
at 1252 hours from the 2000 block of East
Imperial Highway, vehicle versus vehicle.
A shoplifting report was taken at 1312
hours from the 500 block of North Pacific
Coast Highway. An unknown suspect stole
merchandise from the store.
A stolen vehicle report was taken at 1421
hours from the 2200 block of East Maple
Avenue. The victim located her vehicle soon
after and a vehicle recovery was completed.
One female adult was arrested at 1640
hours from the 700 block of South Pacific
Coast Highway for petty theft.
One female adult was arrested at 2058 hours
from El Segundo Boulevard and Pacific Coast
Highway for felony vandalism. The female
began tearing down light fixtures from the
business and caused $2,000 worth of damage.
Thursday, February 3rd
A shoplifting report was taken at 0855 hours
from the 100 block of South Pacific Coast
Highway. An unknown suspect stole food.
A petty theft report was taken at 1509 hours
from the 900 block of East Walnut Avenue.
Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s
unlocked vehicle and removed miscellaneous
items.
A battery report was taken at 1622 hours
from the 500 block of North Pacific Coast
Highway. A male adult kicked the victim.
The victim did not sustain injuries.
One male adult was arrested at 2103 hours
from the 300 block of Concord Street for
misdemeanor driving under the influence of
alcohol and misdemeanor driving with a BAC
above .08%. A traffic collision report was also
taken since the driver struck a parked vehicle.
A traffic accident (no injuries) occurred at
2216 hours from Pine Avenue and Standard
Street. One of the females was detained for
misdemeanor DUI drugs and released with a
citation from the hospital due to medical issues.
One male adult was arrested at 0357 hours
from Maple Avenue and Pepper Street for
an outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of
Manhattan Beach PD and released in the field
