Doesn’t Like Mr. Plank’s Views
I don’t understand why the Herald publishes
the totally uninteresting rants of Duane Plank.
His latest was entitled “One Year In, Trump
Seems To Be Doing a Darn Good Job... If
You’re a Legal Citizen”. Not surprisingly, as
is usually the case when it comes to Trump
supporters voicing their pro-Trump opinions,
the article listed not one thing Trump has accomplished
that could fall under the “doing
a darn good job” category. Instead, it’s just
a bunch of rambling about his son’s Honda
hybrid, his house undergoing renovations, the
fact that he has two jobs, and a lot of insults,
name calling, and mean spirited jibes at Hillary
Clinton, Maxine Walters, Joe Biden, the entire
Democratic Party, Amazon, the concept of “girl
power”, Dreamers (or “illegals or whatever”),
and protesters. What was the point?
I enjoy hearing from people that hold
different views from myself. I find it very
interesting. But not when their “view” is
really nothing more than thinly veiled contempt
for people on the opposite end of the
political spectrum.
