Not Happy With Trip
I have just received a document from the
El Segundo City Clerk’s Office that overtly
displays absolute evidence that El Segundo
City Councilmen Chris Pimentel and Scot
Nicol spent $1,357.80 of the El Segundo
taxpayer’s money on a junket to Orlando,
Florida and this furtive looting of the public
treasury was audaciously approved by the
conspiring city council. The document never
explained “why” they went to Florida, so I
can only assume it was to play golf or some
equally silly scandalous wasteful nonsense.
No one can deny this pretentious, hideously
wasteful squandering and ostentational meretriciously
extravagant use of the taxpayer’s
money - obviously perpetuated by a morbid
avaricious and thievish political maestro of
gangsterisum and his consigliores - is urgent
cause for citizens alarm! The city council
bragged a few months ago that it had millions
of dollars of surplus money and instead of
giving it back to the taxpayers - the rightful
owners - the political maestro and his gang
of consigliores decided to let the political
elite wallow in opulent luxury and let the
stupid taxpayers eat the cost by creating a
financially oppressive “trash tax” on top of
the infamous sewer tax and that would keep
the “political slush fund” full. The secret to
getting the “trash tax” approved was the city
councils refusal to let renters vote on the tax
because they will end paying for it. This ugly
deviant scheme of holding taxpayers hostage
to a trash tax resembles a politically gloated
kleptocracy, not a democracy. As a tiny termite
can end up destroying a huge house,
so citizens will lose their economic freedom
by electing financial thugs to public office.
