gymnasiums. For the first time since 1980,
the baseball field will get a new backstop,
and perimeter fencing and bullpen fencing
will be replaced. Over the years, the perimeter
continued to belt home runs over the fence
hitting houses on the other side of the street.
The fencing has become unstable over time
and needed replacing. The new fencing will
help keep more balls in the park and help
keep errant foul balls from hitting parked
cars and landing in the neighbor’s yards.
