Bear is a unique looking tortie kitten, with beautiful big eyes! She is particularly fond of her little brother, Peel, with whom she plays and cuddles most of the time. She is energetic and daring and loves to explore. She is also very loving and affectionate with her human companions. Little Bear loves belly rubs while lying on your lap, and she relaxes and falls asleep in your hands. She hilariously meows when you kiss her little head. Peel will steal your heart with sweetness! He particularly loves to play with his sister Bear, and to learn from her. He has very expressive eyes, and they are magnetic when he looks into yours. He loves human companionship. He enjoys being held close to you, and sometimes he falls asleep tucked in under your chin. Beautiful Mia was trapped by management at DWP and taken to a county shelter. The person who had been feeding her asked for Kitten Rescue’s help in getting her out of the shelter. Because Mia was deemed “feral”, she could only be adopted by a rescue group. The plan was to spay her and fi nd a place where she could be a barn cat and live out her life as a feral. But something happened when her rescuer put her in a cage for recovery after being spayed…. Sweet Mia meowed. Feral cats do not meow. Meowing is a cat’s way of communicating with humans. It was Mia’s way of saying “I want a home”. Mia is a sweet, lovable cat with captivating green eyes, who likes to be petted and held. A of weeks later, we found Chevy who may be his brother. They’re now bonded, playing and sleeping together, so they should be adopted together. Another foster cat, Anabel, served as the foster mama too, giving both Audi and Chevy love, care and discipline. He’s accustomed to adult cats, kittens and small dogs. Chevy appeared in our front yard, several days after we heard him crying. He must have been on his own for many days. When caught, he was terrifi ed, very thin, and covered with fl eas. It was decided that he’s probably Audi’s brother, as he was found close by. He’s a calm, quiet and affectionate  little guy who  loves to play gently. His fuzzy coat will be handsome when he’s grown. Chevy loves to sleep on his foster mama’s neck with Audi. Chevy is also accustomed to adult cats, kittens, and small dogs. He was terrifi ed, covered with grease and fl eas, and skinny. After a bath, good food and loving care, he tamed immediately and now is a loving, playful, adventurous little guy. Audi started eating nonstop and soon gained weight and lengthened out, but he may always be on the small side.
