Purrrfect Companions
Gummy Bear Dutchess and Sylvester
Bring a kitty ho,ho,ho home for the holidays
because all they want for Christmas (or any
other day of the year) is you!
Gummy Bear is an adorable girl who will
sit on your lap and roll over to get tummy
rubs. She is easy to pick up and carry around
in your arms. She loves soft beds and will
probably sleep curled up next to you. Gummy
Bear is a staff favorite at the Adoption Center
where she lives. She is also a friend to every
kitten in the Adoption Center. She is patient
with the new arrivals and cuddly with them
all. She loves to play and chase things. She
will jump and flip for wand toys or anything
that flies. Gummy Bear will need another cat
or kitten in her new home so she can run,
chase, play, and cuddle with someone of her
species. However, she will always save her
best for you!
Luna is a gorgeous, affectionate and playful
18-month-old girl. She is a dream cat who is
easygoing and an all-around purr-fect kitty.
Luna needs an adopter or foster home urgently
as her current foster is unable to continue caring
for her. She is fine with other cats or she
would also be very happy to be a single kitty
and have all your attention to herself. Can you
help by adopting or fostering this precious little
green-eyed girl?
Dutchess and Sylvester were rescued from
the streets when they were just tiny kittens. After
a lot of love, patience and medication, they are
healthier and more energetic that ever. This
beautiful pair is looking for a fur-ever home
together, as they are very bonded siblings. They
can play for hours together or with their
human friends with the wand toys and laser
pointers. Sylvester is the braver one and is
the first to explore new things. Dutchess was
never one to explore on her own, but with
Sylvester she is more adventurous. Dutchess
looks to Sylvester for reassurance and will cry
if he can’t find her. They are a little shy in the
beginning. However with time, they can’t stop
purring when hugged or carried. They would
do best in a small, quiet home with adults to
spoil them.
Esme is a vibrant, extremely smart and vibrant
kitty. Her markings are very unique…and
with her big personality, she may have some
Bengal in her. She is a social butterfly who
explores everything. Esme loves her cat wheel
for some cardio (you can watch her video on
our website). She and her family were taken
from a high-kill shelter and fostered together.
They are a beautiful and chill family. Esme
would be happy paired with another mellow
cat, a friendly dog or someone from her family.
She would also be content as a single kitty. As
a single kitty, it would be ideal if her human
companion worked from home or was retired to
give her company. She is outgoing and loving,
but also independent and can entertain herself.
Potter Stewart has so much heart that it
shows on his coat! Potter is a cow kitty, but
he’s mostly white with a black nose, a black
patch between his ears, and a black tail. But
the coolest parts of Potter’s style are the three
black spots on his side, two of which are heartshaped.
Potter is the biggest love bug you will
ever meet. During the daytime, he gives lots
of head butts when he wants attention. Every
night, he will follow you to bed, jump up,
and then curl up next to you for some pets
and a nice biscuit-making session. He loves
to wrestle with the other kitties and then settle
in for some cuddles and a nap. Potter would
love to find a forever family with one of his
foster siblings (Wilson, Blair, or Paterson), but
would be happy with another young kitty to
play with. You can keep up with Potter and
his foster family on Instagram: https://www.

George is a walking cloud of puffy sweetness.
He is confident and outgoing, loves
people and wants to be held, cuddled and
napped with as often as possible. This little
puffball is a gorgeous buff color with white
feet and white on his chest. He has long hair
and will need regular brushing, which he quite
enjoys. George is young and playful and needs
another cat in the home for companionship.
Maybe you already have a cat or kitten and
you’re looking for a playmate? Or maybe
you’re interested in adopting two kittens as a
pair? George is being fostered in a home with
gentle kids, other cats and a large, sweet dog.
He loves them all. When George was tested at
five weeks for Feline Leukemia and FIV, his
results were negative for Feline Leukemia -- but
he showed a slight positive for FIV. The vast
majority of kittens that test positive for FIV at
five weeks will go on to retest negative by 4-6
months. If you are unfamiliar with FIV and
early testing, feel free to reach out to us for
links to more information and research about
why this test should not scare you off from
George
adopting little Georgie. The basics are: This
test result does not mean George has FIV. It
also does not mean that George needs to be
separated from other cats in your home. It is
quite unlikely that George actually has FIV.
And even if he doesn’t retest negative in a
couple of months, he can still safely mix with
your other friendly housecat(s) and can live a
long/healthy/normal life.
These kitties are available for adoption
through Kitten Rescue, one of the largest cat
rescue groups in Southern California. All our
kitties are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested
for FeLV and FIV, dewormed and current on
their vaccinations. For additional information
and to see these or our other kittens and cats,
please check our website www.kittenrescue.org

Happy Tails
Monday’s adoptions! The Kitten Rescue
Adoption Center is one of the few pet
adoption places open on Mondays. Looks
like it paid off, as shown in the photos! We
do have the most amazing kittens and cats
though, so that helps. Come and make your
own “Happy Tail” and bring a wonderful
a cat or kitten into your heart and home.
When you adopt a “pet without a partner,”
you will forever make a difference in their
life and they are sure to make a difference
in yours. •
