LA Host Committee Unveils Its Logo
for Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium
LA, get ready to host Super Bowl LVI next year. Los Angeles hosted the first Super Bowl in 1967, with the event later returning to the Rose Bowl in 1993. We are thrilled to welcome back the NFL’s big game – and the celebration that surrounds it – to the Los Angeles region
in 2022 for the first Super Bowl at the new SoFi Stadium in the South Bay. Photo courtesy SoFi Stadium.
“Hope can be a powerful force. Maybe there’s no actual magic in it, but when you know what you hope
for most and hold it like a light within you, you can make things happen, almost like magic.”

Relationships
Working together for the common
good. Building bridges, not barriers.
Striving to make things better.
Finding a middle ground. These are
all great ideals to strive for and to
which we can agree upon. As we
know, the good things in life are sometimes
hard to accomplish or realize. It takes two to
have a relationship. Both parties contribute
and participate, like it or not. There can be
so many things that separate us, things that
come between us. The ways we interact with
others can be determined by our looks, by
our acts, and especially by our words. If we
only relate to those who like us or look like
us, then our pool of friends is rather shallow.
I know during this Covid time it’s hard to
go out of our way to reach out and speak to
someone we meet in passing. When we do reach
out, I believe that those gestures of respect,
that acknowledgement of the other person,
that simple smile or greeting, is what brings
– Laini Taylor
us together. If we overcome our
hesitations of not wanting to invade
someone else’s space or be rejected
for being the weirdo who actually
speaks to strangers, then life would
be better for all. We can knock some
of those man made barriers down.
God created all of us in His image.
All of us are in this thing together. I
may look like an old, white haired,
geezer who tries to look nice and
be friendly, but I may just come off like an
old, grump. No matter how we look, how we
dress, whether we speak the same language, or
smell like we haven’t had a shower in awhile,
we are all in this thing called life together. If
we start with our relationship with God and
realize what he has done for us, then our
relationships with our spouse, our children,
friends, neighbors and yes, even strangers can
be different. We can treat them with respect,
we can show that we care, we can greet them
with a “good morning” and really mean it. We
need one another, now more than ever. When
all is said and done, our relationships mean
everything. Don’t wait til some one is dead
