Leuzinger Welcomes Principal
Leuzinger High School extended a warm welcome to new principal, Dr. Howard Ho. Dr. Ho is a Leuzinger graduate and came back to serve as a teacher, activities director and then associate principal. He then served as director of student services for the district. He is back

No Quite Ready
The suspense is killing me. I really want to
share with you my big announcement. But it’s
not time. “They” always say, anything good or
worthwhile takes time. Who’s “they”? Come to
think of it, my ol’ lady has been waiting close
to 40 years for something good to come from
me. If she can wait that long, I’m sure my 14 +
or – loyal readers can wait a few weeks.
Some of us have been waiting a long time
for God to answer our prayers. Sometimes
it seems as though God don’t hear us when
we cry out for help. He DOES hear us. We
just don’t like his answer. He might say yes
or no or maybe later. He knows what is best
for us at all times. Read the 23rd Psalm and
ask who is doing all the work. The Lord is
my Shepherd, I shall not want. HE makes
me lie down in green pastures, HE leads
me beside still waters, HE restores my soul.
HE leads me in paths of righteousness for
his name’s sake. Even though I walk through
the valley of the shadow of death I will fear
no evil, for you are with me; your rod and
your staff, they comfort me. YOU prepare
a table before me in the presence of my
enemies; YOU anoint my head with oil; my
cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me all the days of my life, and I
shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Wow! God does it all. I do nothing. When the
Lord is our Shepherd, what is there to worry
about? HE has it all under control. HE has
our backs. HE makes us lie down and enjoy
life. Our cups overflow! We better drink up!
Wait upon the Lord, for in due season you
will see that God has answered your prayer
and his answer is always best. Be patient
with me, have a cold one while you wait,
good things take time.
