Happy Tails find a home with a doggie pal, or two, to help keep me from becoming bored and getting into mischief. If you are interested Flanagan, please email info@msfr.org for more information. My name is Kristy and I’m a 4-year old female, purebred Miniature Schnauzer. My friend, Misty, and I arrived at a high kill shelter shortly before July 4th. I was called a stray and boy, did I look it! I was so humiliated because my owner really didn’t take very good care of me. I was matted so badly that I had dreadlocks and it was difficult to tell what breed I was. The MSFR folks knew a good thing when they saw it and rescued me. Sure enough, after my grooming, they discovered a Schnauzer, with a natural tail, who only weighs 17 pounds under all the matted mess. I have to admit that I’m a little shy at first but I’m a sweet loving gal. While I’d love to be placed with friend Misty, I know that it might not be possible. If you are interested Kristy, please email info@msfr.org for more information. I’m the Misty, of the Kristy and Misty duo. I too am a 4-year old female, purebred Miniature Schnauzer. My friend Kristy and I arrived at a high-kill shelter shortly before July 4th. They called me stray and certainly looked the part! It was obvious that my owner really didn’t take very good care of me. I was matted so badly that I had dreadlocks and it was difficult to tell what breed I was. The MSFR folks definitely know their dogs and rescued me. Sure enough, after my grooming, they discovered a Schnauzer, with a natural tail, who only weighs 17 pounds under all the matted mess. I have to admit that I’m a little shy at first but I’m a sweet loving gal. While I’d love to be placed with friend Kristy, I know that it might not be possible. If you are interested Misty, please email info@msfr.org for more information. Bonjour! I am a 4-year old, female “Schnoodle” (a Schnauzer/French Poodle mix), named Paris. I had been at a high kill shelter for several weeks and it appeared that no one wanted me. Then a large number of dogs were brought into the shelter because of the July 4th holiday and I knew that my days were truly numbered. The MSFR We are looking for volunteers to help with our Saturday pet adoption events, which are held at the Petco located at 537 N. Pacific Coast Highway, Redondo Beach 90277. If you are interested in volunteering and can commit to at least one Saturday a month, please contact us at info@msfr.org Hi there, it’s me, Flanagan, and I’m a playful 2-year old male Miniature Schnauzer mix. We are guessing that I may have a bit of Doxie in me since I am low to the ground, only weigh 14 pounds and have a wiry coat. Everyone says that I am cute as a button and smart as a whip. It’s hard to believe that I was turned in to a LA county shelter as a stray. It was almost three weeks and I was running out of time when MSFR came to my rescue. I love to go to the dog park, play ball, go for hikes and I’m happy just being with my family. I’m a likeable youngster who gets along well with other dogs. In fact, I think I would be great to Kristy has been mistreated and needs a new loving family. Paris is a loving dog who would cuddle up with an owner. Congratulations to Gwen and her new family. Gwen is our 6-year old, female Miniature Schnauzer that we rescued from the Downey shelter back in April. She has juvenile cataracts and is nearly blind but is going to a wonderful family. In fact, Gwen joins MSFR Alumni Homer and Melody and is living large in Downey. If you have any questions about a particular dog’s availability you can email us at info@msfr.org. Please visit all of our Miniature Schnauzers & Friends rescues at the adoptions fair held every Saturday from noon-3:30 p.m. or check out our website, www.msfr.org.
