My name is Sulu and if you adopt me, I promise that I will help navigate your life and we’ll have lots of fun on our travels. I’m a very sweet, one-year old, male, Shih Tzu/Poodle/Terrier mix. The MSFR folks spotted me when they rescued Spock at the shelter and took pity on me. I came into the shelter as a stray and was grateful to make it there alive. I had been attacked on the streets by a larger dog and had multiple bite Sulu is a shih tzu/poodle/terrier mix. Kendell needs a second chance with a loving family. wounds on my neck and legs. The guy was a real bully (Klingon?), considering I’m only a year old and weigh 10 pounds. Luckily, after x-rays were taken, we discovered that nothing was broken. I’m almost completely healed and ready to get on with my new life. Considering my history, I’m proud to say that I hold no grudges and get along well with other dogs. If you are interested in Sulu please email info@msfr.org for more information. They say good things come in small packages and I’m here to tell you it’s true. I’m GiGi a very petite eight-pound little gal who is a Schnauzer/Shih Tzu mix. When MSFR was rescuing Kendell from a LA city shelter, they spotted me and thought I was such a love that they couldn’t leave Cora and Nora got to stay together with their new family. Spock is a sweet and playful friend. Happy Tails Congratulations to Cora and Nora and their new family. The girls are the very bonded pair that had been rescued in late January. We’re so thrilled that the girls were able to find a loving family to take both of them so they could stay together. Their new family recently lost their two senior dogs and wanted another pair. Ironically, they planned to name one of the dogs Cora so when they met the ladies at adoptions it was Kismet. They were so surprised we had a Cora that taking Nora, now named Lucy, was icing on the cake! Wishing all of them a very happy life together. • We are looking for volunteers to help with our pet adoption fairs which are held every Saturday at the Petco located at 537 N. If you’re looking for a little guy to help you “live long and prosper,” I’m your pup! They call me Spock and I’m a 10-month old, male, Schnauzer/Poodle/Lhasa(?) mix. My previous owners dumped me at a LA county shelter because they were moving. I guess it was to another galaxy that didn’t allow dogs, because there’s no other reason to leave me. The folks that rescued me agree and say that I’m a cute, loveable little guy who gets along great with other dogs. I’m 16 pounds of playful love that will be the best thing that ever happened to your family! If you are interested in Spock please email GiGi is friendly but timid. me behind! I came into the shelter as a stray and it was pretty overwhelming so I’m a bit timid at first introduction. Once I warm up to you, which doesn’t take long, I’m super friendly and a bundle of love. Because of my timidity, I would do best in a home without small children. If you are interested in GiGi please email info@msfr. org for more information. Hi there – I’m Kendell and I hope you don’t believe in “re-gifting” because my previous owners certainly did. After receiving me as a gift five years ago, they dumped (their idea of re-gifting) me at a LA city shelter. Since they never had time for me, I spent most of my 8-year life living outside and neglected. I’m only 11 pounds but should be closer to 15. I had a mammary tumor, which could have been prevented if I had been spayed, and I needed a dental too. The shelter took care of spaying me and the MSFR doctor removed my tumor when they did my dental so I’m ready for my forever home. I need some work on housebreaking because I never learned what that meant. If you have another dog that would be great because I get along with other dogs and maybe I could learn more about housebreaking! I don’t want to be anyone’s gift again but I do, want to be someone’s loyal, lovable, companion and family member. Please see for yourself what a great gal I am. If you are interested in Kendell please email info@msfr.org for more information. •
