With just :08 left in the half Kehl followed his offensive line into the end zone for a 35-0 lead. Beverly Hills coach Charles Stansbury huddled with Coach Shevlin at halftime and both agreed to have a running clock for the second half. The Eagles had a total of 277 yards of offense in a game that could easily have been twice or triple that. Kehl had a good night, passing for 216 yards on eight completions including one for a touchdown. Tauaese was held to just 45 yards rushing on nine carries but added to his growing number of touchdowns with three; he has 15 rushing TDs on the year. The defense was once again outstanding that limited the Normans to just 128 yards of total offense. Mark Binder led the Eagles with eight tackles while Villalobos, Dylan Radke, Danny McEntee and Billy Brasher were each in on four tackles. The Eagles have worked all week long to ready themselves as the Culver City Centaurs (3-3,0-1) come to town Friday night in what looms as the biggest and most challenging game of the season. The Soph/frosh football team improved to 4-2 on the year with their 42-14 win over Beverly Hills. In the first quarter James Amaral got the Eagles going with a 9-yard touchdown run. Tim Shartz scored relatively easy on another running play midway through the first quarter.
