Obituaries
Morgan Gruenebaum
On Tuesday, September 24, 2019, Morgan
Gruenebaum, loving wife, daughter, sister
and friend, passed away at the age of 33.
Morgan battled a rare form of Glioblastoma
Multiforme (GBM) brain cancer that she
bravely fought for over 22 months.
Morgan was born on October 14, 1985 in
Seal Beach, CA to Wendy and Gary Johnson.
She graduated from Los Alamitos High School
in 2003 and received her BA and Executive
MBA from Loyola Marymount University,
graduating at the top of her class. Morgan was
a Manager in Business Development
at Raytheon Aerospace in
El Segundo, CA. On August 1,
2010, she married Benjamin
Gruenebaum and enjoyed 10
years in their beautiful home
in El Segundo, CA with their
golden doodle Bailey.
Morgan had a passion for life
and lived every day through love
and positivity, despite the adversity
she faced. She enjoyed helping
others and bringing joy to those
around her. Her true passion was
to share her love through cooking
and baking - especially for her
husband Ben and for her family
and friends. Morgan found peace
in the outdoors and loved hikes
in Palos Verdes and trips up the
Pacific NorthWest. She was known
for her pure heart, her strong-willed
determination, her beauty, and her
compassionate spirit.
Morgan is survived by her husband Ben,
her parents Gary and Wendy Johnson,
and her two sisters Taylor and Haley.
Memorial service will be held on Sunday,
October 6th, 2019, 10:30am at Raytheon
Employee Park, 2000 E. El Segundo
Blvd., El Segundo, CA 90245. In lieu
of flowers family requests donations be
made to The Morgan Gruenebaum Fund
for Glioblastoma Research through the
