Working with the West Basin Municipal Water District and the City of El Segundo, we have funded over $34 million in projects to make recycled water a fundamental part of our operations. Recycled water is used throughout the facility from our landscape irrigation to our cooling towers, and we are proud that today over 70% of our water comes from recycled sources. In fact, we recently passed a milestone recycling over 38 billion gallons of water, making us the largest user of reclaimed water in the State of California. We at the Chevron El Segundo Refinery are proud of our long history of being a responsible water user as we work every day to supply over 20% of all motor vehicle fuels consumed in Southern California and nearly half of the jet fuel at LAX.
