and cuddling with you. Ebony is bonded with
Beauty and needs a forever home that will
adopt them together. If you are interested in
meeting Beauty and Ebony, her foster mom
is happy to arrange a playdate.
These cats and kittens are available for
adoption through Kitten Rescue, one of the
largest cat rescue groups in Southern California.
All our kitties are spayed/neutered,
microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV,
dewormed and current on their vaccinations.
Temporarily, adoption events are suspended.
For additional information and to see these
or our other kittens and cats, please check
our website www.kittenrescue.org or email
us at mail@kittenrescue.org.
With our city and state shut down, we
are faced with the delicate balance to protect
our fellow humans from the spread of
COVID-19, while continuing our mission of
saving the most vulnerable victims of the
homeless cat crisis. We know that these are
hard times for everyone. If you can give a
little, it will go a long way. They are still
counting on us during these difficult times.
Your tax-deductible donations for the rescue
and care of our cats and kittens can be made
through our website or by sending a check
payable to Kitten Rescue, 914 Westwood

If you remember Tricia Helfer from the
TV series Battlestar Galactica, she has a
special message for you on the Kitten Rescue
Facebook page about “Giving Tuesday”.
Saving one animal won’t change the
world, but the world will surely change for
that animal. •
Purrrfect Companions
“Kitten season” is here and there is a great
need for foster parents. Whether you care
for one or many, once or frequently, Kitten
Rescue would love for you to become a
foster parent. They offer training, guidance,
medical care (if needed) and lots of moral
support. Fostering brings you the rich reward
of knowing you personally saved this kitty’s
life in providing a safe, loving home while
waiting for adoption. Interested?......please
email them at foster@kittenrescue.org for
more information.
If just 2% of the pet-owning households
in America fostered one pet a year, we could
stop euthanizing healthy pets in shelters.
Here are a few of the precious cats and
kittens waiting for their fur-ever homes.
Malta, his seven siblings and their mama
came to us from an abandoned house. Malta
is a very rambunctious, playful and energetic
kitten. There is never a dull moment when
he is around! He is a climber and likes to
climb all the way up to sit on your shoulders.
Malta will keep you entertained with his
shenanigans and definitely needs an equally
energetic kitty friend to wrestle and play with.
He should be adopted with another kitten
or go to a home that already has a kitten or
playful teen who wants a buddy.
Sicily, Malta’s little sis, is a typical playful,
fun kitten. She has a little ‘tortitude’ but is
also sweet and affectionate. This adorable
girl needs to be adopted with another kitten
or go to a home with an existing kitten or
young cat, to be her playmate.
Cookie is known as a little love bug;
all the volunteer caregivers love her. She
is extremely sweet and adorable and loves
attention. She will walk back and forth at
your feet, meowing softly, waiting for you
to scratch her ears and pet her. Like a lot of
kitties, she does not like to be held for too
long. Cookie has a cute head tilt; she looks
like she is asking a question with her beautiful
green eyes. Although she is a mature adult,
Cookie is very kitten like in nature. If you
can offer this sweet cat a home with a gentle
approach, please consider her.
Ramsey is a fiery little kitty who loves to
play and explore. He is always up for a chase
after a wand toy (and in rare cases his own
tail). When he’s tuckered himself out, Ramsey
is happy to curl up with you to take a long
siesta. The most confident and self-assured
of his siblings, Ramsey looks and acts like
a baby Lion King. He is sure to be the king
of your heart – a benevolent king who likes
belly rubs and cat treats! Ramsey would love
to be adopted with sister, Remy, but can
also be adopted to a home that already has
another cat or kitten.
Remy is a squishy Beanie Baby kitten. If
you like smushing cheeks, this is the kitten
for you. She is a calmer soul than her two
more energetic brothers, preferring the couch
potato lifestyle. She has an affinity for toes,
preferring to hunt these elusive creatures than
any of the actual cat toys her foster mom
got her. Remy can be shy at first but with a
little patience, kindness, and a small boost
of confidence, she will be sure to adopt you.
Ebony is a sassy, feisty little girl that loves
attention and purrs loudly in appreciation
when she gets it. She often starts purring
when you talk to her. Ebony will not hesitate
to come looking for you to make sure she
gets in cuddle time every day. A confident
kitten with a funny little personality, Ebony
likes to keep herself busy playing, chasing
and wrestling with her foster sister, Beauty,

Three cheers for Chad!
We know...one look at this handsome
fellow and you are asking yourself, “What’s
the big deal?” Well, it is. Chad is FeLV+.
While our goal at Kitten Rescue is to find
all our cats a home of their own, we
know that when we take in an FeLV+
cat, they may spend the rest of their life
Congratulations to Chad and his family.
with us.
So, hip, hip, hooray! Thank you to this
wonderful couple for making Chad a part
of their family today.
When you adopt a “pet without a partner”,
you will forever make a difference in their
life and they are sure to make a difference
in yours. •
