Unknown suspect(s) stole over $200,000 in
copper from a construction site.
A criminal threats report was taken at 1520
hours from the 500 block of Sheldon Street.
A burglary (vehicle) report was taken at
1636 hours from the 100 block of Loma
Vista Street.
A found property report was taken at 1829
hours from the 200 block of East Maple
Avenue, found was a bicycle.
An attempted grand theft report was taken
at 1858 hours from the 400 block of Kansas
Street. The victim’s vehicle catalytic converter
was cut, but not taken.
Friday, May 14th
An attempt grand theft report was taken at
0919 hours from the 400 block of Valley Street.
Two unknown suspects attempted to steal the
catalytic converter from the victim’s vehicle.
One male adult was arrested at 1549 hours
from Sepulveda Boulevard and Marine for
grand theft auto.
Three male adults were arrested at 2123
hours in the 700 block of North Pacific
Coast Highway for robbery. One male was
additionally charged with possession of a
loaded firearm.
A traffic accident (with injuries) occurred
at 2219 hours at Grand Avenue and Standard
Street, vehicle versus vehicle.
A stolen vehicle was located at 0146 hours
at 124th Street and Glasgow Place. The victim
was not desirous, and the vehicle was
released in the field.
One male adult was arrested at 0414 hours
and cited for one outstanding misdemeanor
warrant out of ESPD.
Saturday, May 15th
A burglary (vehicle) report was taken at
0911 hours from Franklin Avenue and Sierra
Street. Unknown suspect(s) attempted to
break into a dark grey Kia Sol.
A burglary (residential) report was taken
at 1121 hours from the 700 block of West
Imperial Avenue. Unknown suspect(s) stole
mail from the mail room.
An attempt stolen vehicle report was taken
at 1404 hours from the 100 block of East
Holly Avenue. Unknown suspect(s) damaged
the ignition in attempt to take the vehicle.
An injury report was taken at 1745 hours
from the 900 block of East Imperial Avenue.
A female adult fell on the sidewalk and was
transported to the Little Company of Mary
Hospital
A dead body report was taken at 2358 hours
from the 1600 block of East Maple Avenue.
A hit and run (no injuries) report was taken
at 0117 hours from Pacific Coast Highway
and Walnut Avenue. Unknown suspect(s) hit
the victim’s vehicle and fled the scene. The
victim’s vehicle collided with a fire hydrant.
