Walnut Avenue for two RBPD misdemeanor
warrants.
One female adult was arrested at 0401
hours from the 500 block of North Pacific
Coast Highway for drunk in public, resisting
arrest, and public urination
One male and one female adult was arrested
at 0441 hours from East Maple Avenue and
Washington Street for driving a stolen vehicle.
The male adult was additionally charged with
possession of a controlled substance and
possession of drug paraphernalia.
Friday, April 23rd
One male adult was detained at 1313 hours
from East Mariposa Avenue and Nash Street
and transported to Exodus MLK Hospital for
a 72 hour psychological evaluation.
One male adult was arrested at 2045 hours
from Franklin Avenue and Kansas Street for
possession of drug paraphernalia.
One male adult was arrested at 0127 hours
from California Street and Sycamore Avenue
for one LASD misdemeanor warrant.
One male adult was arrested at 0309 hours
in the 1800 block of Sycamore Avenue for one
Manhattan Beach PD misdemeanor warrant.
Saturday, April 24th
A hit and run (no injuries) report was
taken at 1116 hours from the 300 block
of Main Street, vehicle versus vehicle. The
collision occurred at Rosecrans Avenue and
Douglas Street.
A stolen vehicle report was taken at 1158
hours from the 900 block of Cedar Street.
Taken was a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban. The
vehicle was recovered at 1410 hours in the
100 block of West Sycamore Avenue.
One male adult was arrested at 1607 hours
from the 700 block of South Pacific Coast
Highway for public intoxication.
One male adult was detained and released
with a citation at 2250 hours at West Imperial
Highway and Pacific Coast Highway
for one outstanding misdemeanor warrant
out of LASD.
One female adult was detained and released
with a citation at 2253 hours at West Imperial
Highway and Pacific Coast Highway for one
outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of Torrance
PD and one outstanding misdemeanor
warrant out of CHP.
A resisting arrest report was taken at 0316
hours from Imperial Highway and California
Street.
Sunday, April 25th
A dead body report was taken at 0843
hours from the 2100 block of East Mariposa
Avenue. A male adult was found deceased
from an apparent suicide.
A petty theft report was taken at 1424 hours
from the 900 block of East Imperial Avenue.
Unknown suspect(s) stole the victim’s bicycle.
A grand theft report was taken at 1908
hours from the 500 block of West Imperial
Avenue. A catalytic converter was stolen.
An online identity theft report was taken
at 0429 hours from the 400 block of West
Mariposa Avenue. Unknown suspect(s) used
the victim’s identity to commit fraud.
A traffic accident (with injuries) occurred
at 0431 hours occurred at Rosecrans Avenue
and Pacific Coast Highway, vehicle versus
fence. The driver was arrested for misdemeanor
DUI and transported to Little Company of
Mary Hospital. •
