Obituaries
Bob Wayne Rockhold
Bob Wayne Rockhold, 90,
of Kirksville, Missouri passed
away Sunday, February 3, 2019.
He will be greatly missed. He
was born on September 9, 1928
in Seminole, Oklahoma. He
was the son of Dee L. Rockhold
and Ruby Pearl (Flick) Rockhold.
Bob was united in marriage to
Nancy Moncrief and to this union
one daughter Bobbie, was born.
Bob attended Memphis, MO
schools and he graduated from Northeast
Missouri State Teachers College. He joined
the United States Marines for which he was
proud to be a member. He called the Marines
“his family”.
A very ambitious and dedicated person to
business, he owned several different successful
businesses throughout the years
and he currently owns the
Bank of Kirksville. To quote
Bob, “I enjoyed business to
the point of almost doing it for
nothing”. Bob was a member of
fraternal organizations; El Kadir
Shrine (Kirksville), Al Malaikah
Shrine (California), El Segundo
Masonic Lodge (California),
and Loyal Order of the Moose
(Kirksville).
Bob is survived by his wife, Rennetta
Lenz Rockhold, his daughter and several
nieces and their spouses. Bob was preceded
in death by his parents, his brother and sister
and wife Nancy. Funeral services were held
at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home
in Kirksville, Missouri. •

Police Reports
Thursday, Feb. 7
A vandalism report was taken at 1010 hours
from the 500 block of West Grand Avenue.
A known suspect damaged a front door to a
residence.
Traffic accident (with injuries) occurred
at 1312 hours in the intersection of Main
Street and Imperial Avenue, vehicle versus
three vehicles.
A battery report was taken at 1510 hours
from the 700 block of South Pacific Coast
Highway. The suspect hit the victim in the chest.
Friday, Feb. 8
Burglary (residential) occurred at 0930 hours
in the 800 block of Sheldon Street.
A theft report by false pretense was taken at
0849 hours from the 1200 block of East Imperial
Avenue. The suspect fraudulently misrepresented
himself and stole funds from the victim.
A vandalism report was taken at 1325 hours
from the 700 block of South Pacific Coast
Highway. The suspects slashed the victim’s
right rear vehicle tire.
Violation of a restraining order was taken
at 1425 hours from the 2200 block of East
Park Place. A known suspect violated the
court order.
Saturday, Feb. 9
A burglary report was taken at 1747 hours
from the 800 block of Main Street. Unknown
suspect(s) stole the victim’s bicycle from his
carport.
A grand theft report was taken at 1901
hours from the 2100 block of East El Segundo
Boulevard. Unknown suspect(s) stole tools
from the victim’s vehicle.
One male adult was arrested at 2046 hours
from the 700 block of South Pacific Coast
Highway for one LASD misdemeanor warrant.
Sunday, Feb. 10
One male adult was arrested at 0216 from
the 400 block of North Pacific Coast Highway
for resisting arrest and public intoxication.
A vandalism report was taken at 1528 hours
from the 400 block of Virginia Street.
Monday, Feb. 11
A male adult was reported missing at 1118
hours from the 600 block of North Pacific
Coast Highway.
One male adult was arrested at 1238 hours
from the 2100 block of East El Segundo Boulevard
for one outstanding ESPD misdemeanor
warrant, two outstanding MBPD misdemeanor
warrants, and one outstanding HBPD misdemeanor
warrant.
A burglary (vehicle) report was taken at 1249
hours from the 700 block of North Pacific Coast
Highway. Taken were a suitcase and a laptop.
Tuesday, Feb. 12
One male adult was arrested at 0039 hours
from California Street and Imperial Avenue for
possession of a controlled substance.
A burglary (vehicle) report was taken at 0834
hours from the 500 block of Oregon Street.
A hit and run (no injuries) report was taken
at 1248 hours from Aviation Boulevard and
Hawaii Street, vehicle versus vehicle.
One male adult was detained at 1844 hours
from Main Street and Sycamore Avenue for
vandalism and transported to Exodus for a
72-hour medical evaluation and treatment.
A found property report was taken at 2308
hours, a wallet was found on the 300 block
of Main Street.
Wednesday, Feb. 13
One male adult was arrested at 0040 hours
from the 100 block of West Grand Avenue for
public intoxication.
An attempt burglary (vehicle) report was
taken at 0349 hours from the 700 block of
Penn Street. Unknown suspect(s) attempted to
steal the victim’s catalytic converter.
Battery report was taken at 0704 hours from
the 300 block of Main Street.
One male adult was arrested at 1314 hours
from the 700 block of Hawaii Street for possession
drug paraphernalia and one LBPD
felony warrant.
A forgery report was taken at 1407 hours
from the 500 block of North Pacific Coast
Highway. Unknown suspect(s) fraudulently
cashed checks in the victim’s name.
A burglary (vehicle) report was taken at
1434 hours from the 900 block of Main Street.
A vandalism report was taken at 1956 hours
from the 500 block of North Pacific Coast
Highway. The suspect slashed the victim’s
vehicle tires. •
