EL SEGUNDO HERALD February 18, 2016 Page 15 Purrrfect Companions JellyBean Kenneth This February give a cat or kitten a lifetime of love when you adopt your purr-fect match. JellyBean is a 13 pound fluffy black Maine coon mix.  He has long whiskers, big paws, fluffy coat and tufts of fur between the toes and coming out of his ears with the softest coat ever.  JellyBean loves being brushed and  every morning he follows you into the bathroom and rolls over for you to scratch his belly.  He has a lot of energy and loves to play tag, hide and go seek, and play with anything that dangles like the feather toys or can be pushed around with his paws like balls.  If you’re sitting on the couch to watch TV, JellyBean likes to sit on the top or arm of the couch and just chill.  This gorgeous guy is a low maintenance kitty who simply wants to hang out and live life. Jellybean gets along with other cats and would probably enjoy a companion especially if his new parent is out of the house often.  Once you have his love and trust, JellyBean blossoms into an amazing kitty.  Jellybean has chronic URI that will flare up from time to time with sneezes and watery eyes. For the most part, he does not require any treatment, so a home with fewer allergens would help control his symptoms.  He’s been overlooked due to his watery eyes and shy at first demeanor, so don’t let yourself miss out on  this fabulous kitty! JellyBean would be fine as an only kitty or with other cats, he also lived with Chihuahuas previously.  Nutter Butter and his brother Abba Zabba were rescued with their siblings and another litter of kittens from a storage facility.  Nutter is a stunning buff-colored Maine Coon mix with a true Maine Coon personality as wonderful as his extremely good looks.  He is playful and loving and always on the lookout for a lap to curl up on.   He is especially attached to his brother, Abba Zabba, an exceptionally Bowie arms.  One of the most mellow and gentle kittens around, she could use extra playtime to be a little more energetic.  Although Bowie just loves cuddling up in a little ball and staying put, but she’s happier when humans and other kitties are around!  Little Jennifer is beyond adorable.  With her wide, bright eyes, silky soft fur, little white mittens and muzzle, she’s picture perfect with a personality to match.  Jennifer loves to be petted, loved, and snuggled.  She has an angelic air about her, but give her a fuzzy toy mouse and stand back as Jungle Jenny takes over. Jennifer would prefer to be adopted with her brother, Kenneth, but she’d be happy in any home where she can snuggle by your side in bed, cuddle up with her human to watch TV, devour fuzzy mice, and sneak the occasional illicit snack.  Kenneth is quite the little love bug.  He is incredibly friendly and spunky as all get out.  Kenneth loves to be in the middle of the action; a playful, happy, roly poly kitten who loves to wrestle and chase around like crazy before crashing wherever he happens to be. Kenneth is super sweet, but he can take a little while to warm up to kittens he doesn’t know.  He’d love be adopted with his sister, Jennifer, but with patience and love, he will be a wonderful companion to any kitty, pup, or human who has an open heart.   These kitties are available for adoption through Kitten Rescue, one of the largest cat rescue groups in Southern California.  All of our kitties are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV, dewormed and current on their vaccinations. If someone would open their heart and home for two, they would love to be adopted together, but they can be adopted separately. Abba Zabba was a little shy at first but is now a loving, rambunctious little boy who loves to sit on laps and give kisses.   He may still be a bit shy at first meeting, but quickly loses that shy side to let out his playful and loving nature.  Bowie is a sweet little black and white tuxie girl who was found in a parking lot with her four siblings.  Being the last of her litter, she’s craving a special human who will love her as she grows up. Bowie would make a great companion to another kitty, too!  A bit timid at first, Bowie loves to roll over in your lap and let you rub her tummy.  She also loves sitting next to you and taking a nap in your Nutter Butter Abba Zabba Be kind.
