Page 8 December 6, 2012 TORRANCE TRIBUNE Community Celebrates 29th Annual Holiday Festival Winter Wonderland The Torrance Memorial Medical Center celebrated its 29th Annual Holiday Festival Winter Wonderland from November 27th through December 2nd under a giant white tent in the center’s Skypark Parking Lot.  This year’s festivities included a food court and entertainment by more than 30 musical groups amidst a magical winter wonderland of volunteer-decorated evergreen trees and Santa and his sleigh, holiday treats by Torrance Bakery and music and dancing by local groups.  This year’s event raised funds for the medical center’s 390,000-SF, seven-story Patient Tower now under construction and scheduled to open in 2015. The Holiday Festival opened with Festival Fashions, a boutique, luncheon and fashion show featuring original designs by French and Peruvian designer Jessica Barkley, American Designer Kevan Hall and Edwards-Lowell Furs Beverly Hills and continued into the weekend with Festival Night Gala, a dinner and auction.
