Tis the season for Tricks-or-Treats and I can assure you that I’m defi nitely the perfect treat! MSFR named me Pumpkin, because Pumpkin is a mini-schnauzer who is the perfect treat. Lenny is friendly and trim. We are looking for volunteers to help with our Saturday pet adoption events which are held at the Petco located at 537 N. Pacifi c Coast Highway Redondo Beach 90277. If you are interested in volunteering and can commit to at least one Saturday a month, please contact us at info@msfr.org. My name is Lenny and I’m a 6-year old, male, purebred Miniature Schnauzer. I was rescued from a LA county shelter where, after coming in as a stray, they listed me as a 7-year old terrier! That speaks volumes about my appearance – ever seen a depressed Schnauzer with dreadlocks???? I’m a little bit taller than your average Mini Schnauzer but I’m lean – only 20 pounds -- and I come equipped with “bat ears,” a docked tail and a great personality. I’m friendly and I get along splendidly with other dogs and people. I was checked out by the vet, had a dental done, a lump removed and blood work done. Everything checked out and now I’m good Happy Tails Harrison was rescued at the end of September and has a new home in Torrance. Kristy is a sweet little four-year-old mini-schnauzer. Congratulations to Harrison and his new family. Harrison is our adorable Schnauzer/ Maltese mix that was rescued the end of September. His new family, who had lost their elderly Beagle, met Harrison at our pet adoptions last week and it was love at fi rst sight. Harrison now has his very own little girl to dote on him and he’s living large in Torrance. We wish them all a very happy life. If you have any questions about a particular Mandy loves everyone and loves to play. dog’s availability you can email us at info@ msfr.org. Please visit all of our Miniature Schnauzers & Friends rescues at the adoptions fair held every Saturday from noon to 3:30 p.m. or check out our website, www.msfr.org. Our adoptions fairs take place at Petco, 537 N. Pacifi c Coast Highway, Redondo Beach, California. Schnauzers! Bet you can’t adopt just one! • I’m such a tiny, 11.5 pounds, gal who is so darned cute you can’t help but fall in love with me. I’m a 7-year old, female, purebred Miniature Schnauzer who was rescued from a scary LA city shelter where I was brought in as a stray. I was checked out by the MSFR Vet and my blood work came back just fi ne. When I had my dental they extracted a number of teeth but that doesn’t faze me a bit. I get along well with other dogs (as long as they aren’t demons) and I’m ready to be the special lifetime treat for a family who can love me as much as I’ll love them. If you are interested in Pumpkin, please email info@msfr.org for more information. Hello, I’m Kristy and way back in early July, my sister, Misty and I were rescued from a high-kill shelter. They said I was a stray and boy, did I look it! I was truly humiliated because my owner had neglected me for a long time. I was matted so badly that I had dreadlocks and it was diffi cult to tell what breed I was. The MSFR folks knew a good thing when they saw it and rescued me. Sure enough, after my grooming, they discovered a darling Schnauzer, with a natural tail. My sister has found her forever home and now it’s my turn to fi nd mine. I’m looking for a family whose idea of the perfect dog is a 17 pound, 4-year old female, purebred Miniature Schnauzer. I have to admit that I’m a little shy at fi rst but once I get to know you, I’m the sweetest, loving gal you could ever hope to fi nd. If you are interested Kristy, please email info@msfr. org for more information. If your kids have been begging for a dog or if your dog needs a playmate, I’ve got the dog for you. It’s me, Mandy! I’m a 5-year old, female Shepherd/Husky mix who weighs about 35 pounds so I’m no powder puff. I have a very loving disposition and I’m unrelentingly happy, always smiling with my tail wagging and ready to play. I was rescued from the Carson shelter after I had been quarantined for a month and even that didn’t change my temperament. I love all people, including kids, and other dogs – size isn’t an issue. Come visit me and see – you’ll just have to take me home! Mandy can be seen anytime at Yellow Brick Road Doggie Playcare in El Segundo Call 310-606-5507.
