MANHATTAN BEACH SUN October 4, 2012 Page 7 Non-Profit Honors Sponsors of Summer Fundraiser at an Exclusive Thank You Event Courtesy of Walk With Sally Walk With Sally supporters gathered last Thursday night at the newest Bank of Manhattan branch in Manhattan Beach to celebrate the wonderous outcomes  of Walk With Sally’s biggest fundraising event, White Light White Night.  A long-time supporter and community partner of Walk With Sally, Bank of Manhattan is a proud partner with Walk with Sally and we continue to support the incredible work they do for the children and families of our community Bank of Manhattan hosted the event on the roof top deck of their new location overlooking the ocean on Highland Avenue. Attendees were delighted with the tastings from fellow supporter Zinc Lounge; wine from Uncorked and a performance by local musician Paul Lemire. “Being given an opportunity by our corporate sponsor, Bank of Manhattan, to say thank you to all our sponsors of the evening further solidifies the friendships Nicole Fitzgerald, Manny Serrano, and Isela Buenabad from Bank of Manhattan. in the community and gives us the ability to continue to grow,” said Nick Arquette, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Walk With Sally. In attendance were long- time Walk With Sally supporters Mike Zislis of Zislis Group; Ryan Choura of Choura Events; Craig Rexroad of CRT-Tanaka; Alan Sanford of Saint Rocke. In addition, representatives from Ernst & Young and Sizemore Law firm attended.   “Bank of Manhattan is a proud partner with Walk with Sally and we continue to support the incredible work they do for the children and families of our community” said Rick Sowers, Bank of Manhattan Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer. Walk With Sally’s cornerstone mentorship program supports children whose parents or siblings are fighting or have died from cancer. The sixth annual White Light White Night helped the organization raise over $200,000. These funds will give Walk With Sally the ability to create 25 Friendships and hire additional staff.  The funds will also allow Walk With Sally to expand their headquarters; fund the Temporary Family Support Program and support many other initiatives throughout the year. • Nicole Fitzgerald (Bank of Manhattan) and Nick Arquette (Walk With Sally).
