I’m Tonya a four-year-old, female, purebred Miniature Schnauzer. I was rescued with Tony from a LA city shelter. A Good Samaritan who found us hiding under a car brought us to the shelter thinking our owners would be looking for us. Sadly, they weren’t and no one was the least bit interested in adopting us. That’s when the MSFR volunteers bailed us out. At 21 pounds I’m a little larger than Tony, probably from having several litters of puppies. It appears that we probably were what folks call a breeding pair – whatever that is. I have a beautiful black and silver Tonya needs some new doggie friends. Handsome boy Tony. We are looking for volunteers to help with our pet adoption fairs which are held every Saturday at the Petco located at 537 N. Pacifi c Coast Highway Redondo Beach 90277, from noon-3: 30 p.m. If you are interested in volunteering and can commit to at least one Saturday a month, please contact us at info@msfr.org. You can also visit all of our Miniature Schnauzers & Friends rescues at the adoption fair or check out our website, www.msfr.org. If you have any questions about a particular dog’s availability you can email us at info@msfr.org. Schnauzers! Bet you can’t adopt just one! My name is Tony and I’m here to tell you that I’m a handsome fi ve-year old, male, purebred Miniature Schnauzer. I’ve got a docked tail, cropped ears and I weigh a sturdy 17 pounds. I have a light salt-and-pepper, almost silver, coat and with my disposition, which is super friendly, I’m a keeper. A Good Samaritan who found my girlfriend, Tonya, and me hiding under a car brought us to a LA city shelter hoping our owners would reclaim us. Well, they didn’t and we didn’t get adopted so the MSFR folks bailed us out. Tonya and I get along really well with other dogs and we would love to stay together but we understand that the perfect home may not have room for both of us. If we can’t stay together it would be best that we have another doggie pal since we’re used to having lots of friends. If you are interested in Tony please email info@msfr.org for more Pippi is sweet and excited to play. coat with some stunning markings. My tail is docked but my ears, like the rest of my body, are totally natural. I have a great temperament and get along well with everyone. I would love to be adopted with Tony, but if there isn’t room for both of us at the perfect forever home I understand. I would need to have another doggie pal since I’ve always had a large extended family and haven’t been alone. If you are interested in Tonya please email info@msfr.org for more information. Have you ever seen a dog with pigtails? To be honest, they are really “bat ears” but when left untrimmed, they look like pigtails and that’s how I got my name, Pippi Laurel needs lots of love. Longstockings (AKA Pippi). I’m a two-year old, 13-pound female Miniature Schnauzer mix who was rescued from a LA county shelter where they called me a stray. I look mostly like a Schnauzer but I’m a bit taller, have a slender build and a natural tail that curls up like a plume. I’m very friendly and get along well with everyone – dogs and people. I have lots of pep and personality plus I love to jump and would be a great agility dog. Please come to our adoptions and see how adorable I am with my pigtails! If you are interested in Pippi please email info@msfr. org for more information. If you want a sweet, happy, loving little girl who only wants to be loved, you’ve found her! My name is Laurel and I’m a two-year old, 17 pound, female spaniel mix. I wasn’t always the happy gal that I am now. In fact, when I was rescued from the San Bernardino City Shelter I was so scared that at fi rst, I would only crawl. It took lots of love and TLC, but I have learned to trust people again and now when I’m called, I get so excited I just bounce around. I get along great with dogs – large or small – as well as people and will give lots of tender little kisses. I’m am crate-trained and ride well in a car so we can go everywhere together and have lots of fun escapades. I can be seen anytime at Yellow Brick Road Doggie Playcare in El Segundo Call 310-606-5507 or email southbaydoggie@hotmail.com for appointment. • Dallas is sweet and graceful.
