March 14 , 2013 Page 9 Chevron Thanks You! We appreciate your patience while we moved our coke drums through local streets. The Chevron Refinery thanks our neighbors for contributing to the success of our recently completed coke drum transportation project. Over the past three weeks, our project team moved vital equipment between King Harbor and the Refinery, while making every effort to minimize potential inconvenience. This project will help ensure continued operations at the Chevron El Segundo Refinery, which supplies over 20% of the motor vehicle fuels used in Southern California and 40% of the jet fuel used at the Los Angeles International Airport. Chevron worked closely with local governments and hundreds of local businesses to plan the move, but this project would not have been possible without the understanding and support of our neighbors. With a little foresight and planning, your patience and input truly helped in this important effort, something that makes us extremely proud to be a part of the South Bay community. Thanks again on behalf of the Chevron Project Team.
