With the planned construction likely to exceed $1 million, the Council directed staff to remove the project from the current budget. “We’ll put it on a wish list and keep our eyes open for other grant possibilities,” said Mandoki. The Mayor noted that the Council will adopt the budget at a regular meeting and further deliberation will take place at that time. Mandoki said that staff would revise the budget with the modification for the Teen Center.
