Two residents called attention to an incident of multiple shots fired on 154st Street. Gene Starr, who owns property where bullets were lodged, said tenants want to feel safe where they live, and called attention a long time. Mayor Robert Pullen-Miles thanked Parra for growing library programs and services. He said the TAP service is a convenience that will encourage more folks to use Metro transportation. Pullen-Miles also asserted the need for residents to “say something” if they observe troublesome behavior or incidents around the community. Captain April Tardy gave the safety report, citing one incident occurring on the last day of the reporting cycle.
