The academy is geared towards middle and high school students from neighborhoods surrounding LAX interested in aviation and aerospace. The teens use flight simulators and go on field trips to aviation sites while learning about aviation-related People ..................................2 careers. Presentations are provided by organizations such as the Federal Aviation Administration, TSA, Airlines, Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles World Airports divisions.
